# chatGPT and song lyrics
Anyone else had weird results when trying to ask ChatGPT about song lyrics?

I'm trying to work out if 'Your Woman' by White Town was the first UK number 1 to include the word 'crap'

I thought ChatGPT would be able to easily answer this (based on song lyrics and UK number ones being pretty straight forward datasets), but instead it gave me a mangled answer about Clive Dunn's 'Grandad' mixed with the lyrics to 'My Old Man's A Dustman'. Neither of which include the word crap

Then I also asked if the same song was also the first UK number 1 to mention Marxism but it said

the first UK number one single to mention the word 'Marxist' in its lyrics was 'All You Need Is Love' by The Beatles. The song was released in 1967 and includes the line 'But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao / You ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow.'

Which again - is totally mangled.
