Why is it ?

That as soon as you add a wheelchair to a picture it's suddenly OK to call the sitter 'Retarded' ?

Seems to me that retardation is when somebody is slow or educationally backward.

In coventry the other day

a bloke went past me (downhill) in a wheelchair going damn fast... nearly killed a couple of pigeons (poor things) and a small child, but it looked like fun!

...People in wheelchairs get rather fucked off at people thinking that because of the chair they must wheel around going 'mnerrr mnerrr, look at me I'm a spaccer'. I spent one afternoon in a chair and was sick of the condascending idiots.
