[challenge entry] old comp but.........fuck me
Sheep rescuers honoured

Rescuers from the RSPCA who saved a group of sheep a year ago are to be honoured.

A bravery award is to be given to Exmouth lifeguards who ferried the stranded animals to safety on a surfboard.

Rising flood waters had threatened to engulf the farm animals.

But the improvised rescue operation worked with the flock safely reaching dry land.

stranded at the bottom of a big waterfall in the floods we had. i reckon it had gone over.

unfortunatly i didn't have a surfboard handy so no rescuing occured.
