It's extremely comfortable

and it still stinks. I'm going to give it a good clean with my neighbour's carpet shampooer.

He could always get a really funky throwover
for a couple of quid - eliminating smell, hiding unsightliness, and retaining comfort value. the throw over could be washed periodically so that it doesn't become contaminated with old people piss smells.
