# tis a shame but i realised time travel was impossible the other day :(
If it was possible, surely someone would have come back and told us by now.

*sigh*

# If it were possible
it hasn't been invented in this universe yet, so no-one could have come back.
If someone did invent it and go back in time, they'd alter all the events in that universe starting from the time they went back to and turn it into a different universe; they'd then be pretty screwed, because they might not have a future to go back to (given that the events of the universe after their visit were different.)

# not necacerially
heard of this new theory of time travel, didnt actually loom at it, but it involves building some kind of gate thing so taht you can go ahead into the future as long as that gate exists, and go back up untuill it was built, so if it was built today, we could go back to now, but no furthur back
ive stayed away from time travel stuff so i dont really know, friend of mine told me taht

# i think someone misunderstood stargate.
and then the theory of chinese whispers came into play and now you have heard it.

# Loosely on the same subject:
I just lost the Game.

# !?!?!
how loosely are we talking because i'm lost.
(, Wed 16 Nov 2005, 19:20, archived)
# I'm talking "last-six-words-of-the-sentence" loosely.
And I just lost the Game again.
(, Wed 16 Nov 2005, 19:22, archived)
# Is it my imagination
or did games of chinese whispers allways go awry because someone thought it would be funny to change words on purpose?

edit: I now understand the Game, and lost. that was quick.

# yes... normally goes something like this
Andy : I love football
Bob : I love football
Charlie : I love football
Dexter : Andy says "i have sex with my mum all the time and she loves it and i love it too and my dad watches while my brother masturbates furiously"

# ah!
not necessarily...maybe someone will discover a way of using a wormhole to go travel 'back' in time; they would only be able to go back to a time after the time machine was created. See? So not all that useful/cool but possible...(maybe)
(, Wed 16 Nov 2005, 19:15, archived)
# ol and good paradox :3
if a guy go to the past, and says that time travelling is possible, this will radically changes the future, making this guy don“t go back in this new future or maybe not even exist at all, what causes he never going and going and never going ... *fries*
(, Wed 16 Nov 2005, 19:16, archived)
# i understand what you're saying
even less than i understand the theory of time travel.

# Well the advantage of working on a time machine
Is if you go over budget you can always go back and invent it on schedule.
