# Shit!
That's good.
I thought "What monkey twunt face has pasted their stupid unanimated not funny holiday pictures on here? Jeez!"
Then I noticed that it was a rendering, not a photomagraph.

Well dones!
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 13:54, archived)
# Haha. Cheers
But who takes photos of police cars on holiday?
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 13:56, archived)
# Very sad people.
Hence the compounded exponential TWUNTAGE inherent in the photo*.

*Had it been a photo.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:00, archived)
# Very true.
I'd like to make it clear that I'm not a police car spotter if such a thing exists. It just had some nice shiny reflections to get stuck into.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:02, archived)
# Police cars don't take holidays that often
which is why we don't see many.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:02, archived)
# cor that's ver nice.
i though it was a photo you'd shopped onto a background in the thumbnail.

# very nicely done
3d cars is all the soothing.

(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:01, archived)
# Thats well good.
But my car isn't 3D. It's just a photoshop painting. Vectors and feathering etc.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:03, archived)
# oh that's even better then.
I do a bit of that too.

Yours is even more woo now.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:07, archived)
# Thats fantastic!
I find skintones very hard to get right. I like your use of blurring too. Gives it a watercolour feel to it.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:09, archived)
# Cheers
It was phase I was going through about a year ago, doing portraits in tattyshop with the aim to achieve that 'watercolour' effect you noticed. The blurriness of it all is more down to my being more of a dabbler and less of an actual illustrator.

edit feathers are easier than skin

# is it for a game?
Sorry
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 14:19, archived)
# No.
And I don't make tea for 32K a year either!
