# I think we need to start raising the country on stilts
flood defences are just setting up walls for giant, rain filled swimming pools that our houses are at the bottom of.

# I took the train from Banbury to London yesterday
I would say that a good 30% of the journey was spent looking at fields underwater.

5 years ago I thought that the UK would have 50 years left. I reckon it's down to 25 now.

If the floods don't give us all hepatitis then the arses of society stamping on their neighbours and fighting to be on top of the pile will force most people in to suicide pacts.

# Banjo duel?
By strange co-incidence, I went to see Hayseed Dixie on Saturday night. They do the old duelling banjos thing, too.

I bet Chirozo & Dave's was better, simply for the aesthetics.

Did the weekday regulars see this, btw?
