# Sticking it to the establishment
for 25 years

Keep up the good work

# I like that
a lot

# Why thank you very much :D

# ahaha
nice pic
but the idea that ch4 is somehow anti-establishment makes me laugh more than somewhat

# haha ^this
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:26, archived)
# Yeah that is a fair point nowadays
but over its history, breaking new ground and heading new cultural trends in Britain has definitely been its role.

Just a pity it's all reality shows and, erm, reality shows - nowadays.
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:30, archived)
# don't forget the reality shows

(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:30, archived)
# hmm
i'm not sure i agree with that tbh

but frankly, who cares? the one thing i've noticed about using this spare account is that it doesn't have anyone on ignore, and it's made absolutely no difference to me, so i might unignore everyone once i'm back as me
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:32, archived)
# why are you using a spare account?

# ah
fair dos

# I've been ignored by some folks
and it certainly hasn't made any difference to me!
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:37, archived)
# I've found that before.
the people I put on ignore are generally twats who don't hang around for too long.
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:44, archived)
# indeedy!

(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:30, archived)
# i dunno that that's necessarily what it means
Ch4 does tend to court controversy more than other channels, which suggests a tendency to ignore the establishment more than anti it, but which still comes under the heading of 'sticking it'

# Give the man a banana
thank you - that's kind of what I meant. Scandalising grannies with filth and making the red tops angry with, erm, filth is always good fun :)
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:32, archived)
# red tops?
homogenised skimmed milk?
(, Fri 5 Oct 2007, 9:33, archived)
# I can't see it yet
... but if I wait, and I'm very quiet, maybe it'll peek out it's head an... oh! there it is... look - isn't it beautiful

:D
