i really want a nerdy hexidecimal rainbow going around my arm, but i can't decide if i want color or not.
i like the concept of the color one better, but i think that the black one is more visually appealing over all...
gay-geek pride! ^_^
Personally I prefer black tattoo's - but in this case it kind of defeats the point.

But it's hardly the most outlandish tattoo ever, so I don't think that the colour would be an issue in that sense.

not only is it in Elvish, but it says "how much wood could a woodchuck chuck"
/obscure reference?
i seem to say that to you a lot :D
i think if you're gonna have that on your arm, may as well have it in colour :D

but if it is just color with no outlines,
it would probably bleed pretty badly over time...
tis a very confuddling decision!
^_^
also, HI!

That way it only makes sense to those who know and it will be more visually apealling.

the problem with colour is every few years you need to get it re-done.
what does this hex mean?
and black if you go to shit tattooist. motherfucker will pay.
edit: is the hex the colours of the rainbow?

i was thinking...that way if people who are all
homophoby were like "whazzat on yer arm"
i could say that it was hexidecimal and confuze them
but the people that would get it are the people who
are made of 100% AWESOME

I only realised it was ever a problem when the LGB society at my uni politely asked me to stop using the word "gay" on my radio show to describe music i feel is a little soft. I, of course, didn't mean it in an offesive away but as a puerile joke. they were very nice about it though and just made the point how would i feel if someone described crap music as Yiddish. boy did i feel stupid :/

That as soon as you get the tattoo done, they'll adopt a whole new set of colour standards.
Just to spite you.

i'm a bit obsessed...and the girl that i'm...
seeing? i dunno... anywho...she has lots...makes me want more.
i have several friends who feel that way about them too, but
i made them read this book i got for christmas that explains it all
far more eloquently than i can...
i personally consider tattoos to be art. as an art major and
whatnot, i find the idea of using the body as a canvas to be
amazing...
there are some people who just get tattoos because it is "cool," but i feel that
if someone gets them for the right reasons (ie self expression, for some people it is
even a spiritual thing), that they can be beautiful.

i need to get them covered up. they were drawn really badly by the only guy in our area who didn't ask for ID. in retrospect i feel fucking stupid.
i love the one on my hip though "liberté, egalité, fraternité" in lovely swirly writing. want another tat so badly.

i usually really dislike wings but those are really different. very cool. there are far too many angel wings one. i did once see some one who had binary wings. they rocked.

ties it all in nicely, though one should be purposely wrong to see if those who stare at your chosen arm are proper geeks with attention to detail.
The tattooist won't necessarily have the exact colours for the hex codes, mind.

six colours.
(Newton simplified the colour continuum to seven discrete steps for theological/alchemy reasons, there aren't "really" six or seven or any other finite number.)
Being as how it's gayshift (hurrah!) and rps (boo!) and we've fallen off the bottom of the page (runs out of interjections!) here's him indoors when he was still raw and in agony –

(done in 2002, the black is now more blue but the other colours have held up reasonably and the fades are more fadey.)
