The first Pro Tool project I did was with Flash. IT's great as ther's no drums!
You may be able to rip with something like AVSDVD and the take the track off afterwards.

s a bit like that- ie you have to be careful what you click whilst recording or you get a sudden 'Ping' in whatever you is trying to rip off
