because we're all more two faced now a days.
EDIT: Having just seen this www.b3ta.com/board/8754128 I have gazzed microwave asking for the uni's address and the name of the person who told him to stop. if he concents anyone else up for mailing a huge ammount of letters of complaint to the uni saying how wrong you feel it is for an education establishment implanting draconian messures to curtail a students freedom of expression and creativity

I probably won't be able to do anything until Monday anyway, so if somebody finds a decent source image, send the link my way and I'll set to work :)

Oh sorry!
Although I should say that it was more an admonishment of his ghastly visage than your artistic abilities.

I'm surprised you could overcome the gag reflex
for long enough to even hazard a guess as to the subject! :D

I don't have a gag reflex,
for seemingly dubious reasons I shall not enter into.

It would certainly take some effort to enter into my own face.
But minus a few ribs it could be done!

thankee
I can't understand a word of yours ;-)
The green colour makes a big difference, so much so that I wish I'd done something like that myself rather than sticking to grey.

It means the white words show up as well as the black
But you lose the starkness of the monochrome.
So it's swings and roundabouts :)

Looks like Latin.
Although not being able to read latin I'll just stab at something Italiany.

I would have said that, but I couldn't see the Lorem
so tried to look vaguely intelligent in the presense of a fine lady but instead failed miserably.

It's more raggedy and overgrown at the moment.
Like a homeless viking. Or a drunk hedge.

basically you take the original picture and reduce it down to three colours
then use numbers/letters for the shadows...
dots/ commas for the rest

ah, no
sorry. I made it quite faithful to the original work. Hence why it took 10 sodding hours. In one sitting. I learned that Word isn't really designed for that sort of thing!

thank ye

The kind of thing you've done (and the sort of stuff that HappyToast knocks out for fun) leaves me in awe to be honest.

thanking thee
I'm not sure which is more praiseful the awe or being lumped into a sentence with happy toast :)

Cocking Nora!
Did you have the picture underneath or something? Because that's bloody impressive freehand otherwise.

In truth
I can't remember, but as I know my skills are not THAT great, I think it's a safe bet that the picture was underneath ;-)
Just checked the original Word document and it only has the artwork I put on there, not the original picture, but I probably would have deleted it if it was there.
What I can say, with the utmost truth, is that it was done entirely within Word and only using the basic tools that Word has.
EDIT : The original Word document is at "http://www.clucksworld.co.uk/b3ta/la reve - picasso.doc" if you want to take a look at it.

Also, as per you edit, I think Microwave is in America.
Hence why they are all such paranoid, overethical weirdos.

EDIT: Shit, shame about Microwave's drawings. I'd love for him to keep doing them somehow to have a dig at the gimps that stopped him, but then again it wouldn't be good if he was kicked out :/
