# I've become a bit of a one-trick pony
of late, so have a Kurt Cobain for Friday night

Click for huge, readable version. Lyrics are duplicated since they never released that many tracks :(

Slash / Bonio / Jim Morrison / Jimmy Page / Jerry Garcia / Bob Dylan / Dave Gilmour / Teh Quo / Bob Marley / Born in the USA / Stevie Wonder / Hendrix and Mercury / Lemmy / Thom Yorke

EDIT : I've mentioned it before, but there is nothing of the original picture in these images. Just 3, 4 or 5 shades of grey (and sometimes a plain background colour) and that's all. I promise :)

# nice work there :)
you've finally incporporated the overrated pleb into something with real talent

# First Battenburg...Now Kurt!!!!
We are going to fall out, Archie!!

# only because you know I'm right and you won't admit it to yourself
Bowie is a talent who has changed generations with varying styles of music, and he earns respect for such talent.

Singing a few whiney songs to a reptitive guitar riff, then realising how shit they are you have to take a shotgun
to yourself does not make Cobain any sort of musical 'legend' as many would have us believe.

and as for Battenburg....

# How big would Nirvana be if he didn't kill himself?
But I ask myself the same question about The Beatles and John Lennon.

Also you are on Jonathon Ross. ; )

# So I hear *multitasking*
Nirvana would probably have gone downhill as most artists/groups do when their 'niche' becomes oversaturated in the market
with lots of spin-off groups, solo projects, imitators and pretenders to the throne.
Most groups do.

The Beatles, along with artists such as Bowie, Queen to name but two more, varied styles over different eras, marketing themselves out
to different groups and styles. That's what kept them 'big'

# BBC1
you are quite entertaining

# makes a change ;)

# I thought about a Bowie one
but he's one of those changable artists that you can't pin down an "iconic" image for. The same with Madonna really. If somebody can suggest the ideal 'Bowie' image, then I'll give it a go. Same goes for Madonna :)

# Shatner soon ;)
/to Star Trekkin'

# it's coming soon
though I may have to repeat the lyrics a few times to fill the image.

I've been against repeating lyrics, but sometimes it's completely unavoidable :(

# came out
a lot better than I expected. Shame those 2 lines of text are now distracting me more than I can believe. How did I not notice them? :(
(, Fri 26 Sep 2008, 22:36, archived)
# I like them . . .
they draw more inquizitive attention . . .

# i like that but there are two lines that are annoying me
(, Fri 26 Sep 2008, 22:32, archived)
# Is one of them
"but I don't have a gun"?
(, Fri 26 Sep 2008, 22:33, archived)
# oh cock :(
just noticed them and now they are annoying me intensely aswell. I might (read as "probably won't summon up enough energy to bother") get around to re-doing it by re-jigging those lines.
(, Fri 26 Sep 2008, 22:34, archived)
# its got a double space
btw woo to all of those :D
(, Fri 26 Sep 2008, 22:35, archived)
# nah
it's just that the text is 'justified' and the first word is actually about 6 words joined with a / as they are one-word lyric lines in the original songs. I just need to re-edit it with a space in there and it will fill nicely.

Shame I didn't make a note of the exact shades I used, so it won't turn out as good as this next time :(

And thanks for the woo :)
