I just realised how shoddy the pic is. A real 5-minute job

I have a black friend who calls me honkey. Does that make her racist? Of course fucking not!

my rant is directed at the media demanding everyone be offended by nicknames royals have for their mates, football chants, tv programmes etc. not at you.
Fucking ludicrous. It seems a tiny minority of people, no matter their race or gender or whatever, get offended by everything and complain about it. So a few complaints about a tv programme, in comparison to the millions who didn't complain, results in apologies and adjustments of guidelines.
Something not entirely right there.

after ONE COMPLAINT...
www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/jan/07/ladbrokes-gambling-ad-banned-by-asa
The Advertising Standards Authority received one complaint that the TV ads portrayed gambling in a context of toughness and linked it to risk-taking and reckless behaviour. (sounds like gambling to me...)
So the answer is to complain about ANYTHING that you don't like.
It'll reach the point when EVERYTHING gets complained about and people will start to have some common fucking sense

- Prince Harry gets done for racism; lots of hunting around for further "Royals is racist" stories.
- Strickly Come Ice Star is corrupt; lots of stories of other, nearly, corruption.
- Baby P dies; stories about neglect and stuff poplier.
Or am I just good-looking, naive and gullible?

My gay mate has an Indian friend and they call each other 'Nancy Boy' and 'Token' respectively and I know a black guy who insists folks call him 'nigger' 'cos he's into subjugation and gets off on it, but none of that is anyone else's business because PC-ism has NO place at all amongst mates and consenting adults, so I'm equally rather inclined to pronounce all this 'racist royals' malarky as just yet another tabloid non-story of facts taken out of context to sell newspapers to idiots who like moralising on stuff they have no control over nor understanding of.

this idea of people getting offended by/upset by stuff that doesn't affect them.
Knife crime is a good example: all the middle class folks in their gated communities who drive everywhere rather than wailk, getting upset that it's not safe to walk to streets.
