# Heh
while we were in the UK we watched some movies on TV with a little signer person at the bottom of the screen. More fun to watch than the actual movies, I have to say.

# Yeah!
I liked the big-eared man in the brown shirt. XD

They're usually on really late at night or really early in the morning.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:30, archived)
# Like...
between 1.30 and maybe like 2.30 am. The tv is so shit though. The place we were staying only had the 5 terrestrial channels. :p

# Awwww hahahah.
Not like channel 5 is any good though. They had a couple good programs on itv1 when we were there. I watched Rude Tube 2009, and had seen pretty much every clip they showed on there. XD

# Try the music channels about 4-5am
They have music videos with people signing the lyrics.

Signing. Music.
Like the lyrics of today's chart music have any poetic beauty.
The signers do, however, do little dances while signing, which is fun.

# Ahhahahahah
I'll have to watch that! :D
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:38, archived)
# Kerrang! TV
Is particularly amusing :)

# I've never ever seen that.
I shall have to, now. :]
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:41, archived)
# I'll try capturing some video
And gif-ifying the results.
And at Xmas, the signers wear Santa hats!
Marvellously surreal.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:41, archived)
# Ooooh!
I can't believe I missed that. But like I said, we only had 5 channels. :p

# Best one ever is when they sign the theme song title.
Mate of mine used to work for the RNID and obviously they had lots of deaf people working there.
If they wanted to talk to someone in the open plan office they'd call their extention number, the person would see who is was and they'd sign over the distance.
Unfortunately it wasn't a very private way of communicating so apparantly he'd never worked in an office with so much gossip going around.

# Has he been gnopsed?
Slight Tj: Can anyone give me an easier way to export flash anims as .gif?

The only way i've found so far is to put each frame into imageready, fuck that.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:30, archived)
# in flash it's export movie then choose animated gif
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:33, archived)
# When i attempt that, flash saves each frame as an individual picture.
I'm probably doing something wrong.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:35, archived)
# You're doing it wrong.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:35, archived)
# :(
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:36, archived)
# Awwww.
*hug*
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:38, archived)
# Learn flash before you hug me, you bastard!
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:39, archived)
# I know flash!

And don't call me a bastard. Meanie.

EDIT: Bye b3ta. Off to dye my friend's hair. :]
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:40, archived)
# you're probably just saving as sequence gif
there's another option in the long list that says animated gif
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:40, archived)
# What list?
I have no list.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:42, archived)
# Yes, but when i select that option, it saves as a gif of the first frame of the animation.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:46, archived)
# well this is how I do it
goto

/file
/export
/export movie
/save as type
/animated gif

other than that I don't know what's wrong sorry :)
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:52, archived)
# Yes!
Somehow doing it that way worked, thanks very much, i'm rubbish at computering. :(
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:57, archived)
# you're welcome :)
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:59, archived)
# ImageReady does (did?) have an "Import Folder As Frames" option which is fairly painless.
It's what I always used because Flash was so rubbish at exporting gifs.
(, Fri 16 Jan 2009, 22:50, archived)
# Yay, Mr tumble thinks it's ace!

(if you watch cebeebies, you know who i'm talking about!)
