which is technically correct. if jesus existed, there was only one of him and four of them. put them together, they'd be approximately four times bigger than him.

A lot of scholars believe that they were lots of different completely seperate acts attributed to one person. The fact that the Jesus story shares and takes from it lots from early Mithratic resurrection stories is not coincidence.

but the person that is known as Jesus has been proven to exist.

A person called Jesus existed, as do many, it's a fairly popular name.
Seperation of name and concept. A rose known by any other name...and all that jazz.

and did find a man called Jesus who was Bar Joseph who was crucified. He is pretty much undoubtably the man that is known as Jesus. However, no proof exists of his miracles. Well, apart from the Gospels. And to be fair, wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?o2=&o0=1&o7=&o5=&o1=1&o6=&o4=&o3=&s=gospel+truth

3 Days of playing around produced this little lot.
Some are quite nice i think, some were very tricky, others dead simple.

can I just state that I do not at any point doubt the importance of The Beatles in music. However, the majority of their importance is based on the social implications, not the musical innovation that they supposedly created. If you wanna gaz and have a chat with me about it, I would enjoy that. I love arguing about music :D

also, i am probably not entirely capable of a sustained intelligent debate at this hour and in my current state of mind
perhaps some other time though :D
i was brought up listening to the beatles, so my defence of them is probably mostly a knee-jerk reaction (fun fact: i took my username from 'i am the walrus')

However, my main point is that they weren't anywhere near as innnovative as people made them out to be. Undoubtedly the biggest band of all time though, and I think the most important band of all time. However, I myself, like Smash, am not a massive fan.

to musical history, but that doesn't make me like them any more. it's like football, as soon as people realise that i'm a scouser, they immediately assume that i love football and the beatles.

i don't like either of them and it annoys me that, due to ridiculous stereotyping, there will always be people dumbfounded by the fact that a scouser would dislike both these things. i'd dislike them anyway.
