(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:09, archived)
# have you tried nhs direct?
as far as i know, all you need to do is find an nhs dentist in your area, go down there and ask to be put on the waiting list.
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:09, archived)
# whats the number please?
my last dentist died of cancer :(
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:13, archived)
# 0845 4647
at least that's what their website says
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:19, archived)
# does it say if it costs money to phone?
i don't get all these 0845 0800 0300 or whatever they are now numbers!
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:38, archived)
# 0845 is not usually free
but it might be. if it's not free, the easiest thing to do would be to go on the nhs direct website and see if you can get a list of local nhs dentists. that way, you only have to call local rate.
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:44, archived)
# the one listed died 6 years ago
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:46, archived)
# that's a bugger
try yell.com, they'll give you a list of all dentists in your area, plus their numbers. some dentists even have a website, which will be linked, which means you should be able to find out if they accept nhs patients.
(, Sun 26 Apr 2009, 23:49, archived)
