I'm quite happy with my understanding of science. Ask yourself why it's always the trails in the upper atmosphere that disperse before the lower ones do. No actually don't ask yourself as you'll come up with some ludicrous, paranoid nonsense. Ask a scientist who will tell you about upper cloud layers burning off first due to a phenomenon knows as "the sun".

I paid close attention to contrails as a child. I carefully observed every single one I could set my eyeballs on and counted the minutes until they dissapeared. I never saw them behave the way they do today, thick plumes that spread out into a guazy haze that covers the sky. No, not when I was little; they simply did not do that.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 14:25, archived)
# Genuine question here, fella: Why would you pay 'close attention' to contrails as a child?
surely, as a child, when there were supposedly no such thing as chemtrails back then (by your own argument above, as these things simply didn't do the same things they do today)
You'd just be happily watching the clouds go by and being a child of the time?
unless you knew something back then, before it happened...

# Fuck off you annoying troll.
If you can't accept that weather conditions are rapidly changing at height, colder temperatures cause vapour trails with more condensation in them and that the simple action of the sun and wind makes this vapour behave exactly the same as any other high altitude cirrus clod then you are closed to debate and have no objectivity at all rendering anything you say bias and therefore worthless.
Seriously, it's becoming like harassment now. Leave me the fuck alone. Stop gazzing me, stop sending me emails talking about stupid machines that make you well ( the same machines that are illegal as fraudulent and the maker of those machines this week being sentenced to up to 140 years in jail), about trails of chemicals that do god knows what to us, about Jews not being killed because 60 year old walls are not blue and about there being a new world order taking over humanity. Stop it because quite frankly I hope it's true and the sooner the elite are in charge and the great cull is imposed the sooner I can forget about you.

Am I right in saying that these chemtrails are a new thing? Don't people say that they can't remember them as kids so they can't have been there. ( same people also say they can't remember being abducted and probed but never seem to use the same 'never happened then' argument there )

I was pleased to see this image from 1967.

# interesting
I wonder what that was, because chemtrail studies must have been developed and tested before, but you cannot provide any photos of normal commercial airliners producing sustained chemtrail criss crosses before 1999.

do it.

I lived in LA for twenty years, from the early 80's, and i never saw one single chemtrail, then i moved away and since '01 there are tons of them there, google Los Angeles chemtrails and see the number of people on the net complaining about them!

and in all the pics i took all those years I see not a single chemtrail, what are the chances of that?

.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 14:38, archived)
# no I can't
because what you ask is impossible. There are no such things as chemtrails so I can't produce any pictures of them.

I can show you jet vapour trails from 1954 though www.anseladams.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=963

and anyone with the slightest knowledge of the internet can find hundreds of such photographs dating back to the second world war.

People are noticing the changing of our skys all over the world and i don’t buy into what you have to say about “not trusting our memorys” People i know whom i have not spoken to about this subject have had an instinctive reaction that not all is as it should be in our skies. And have then sought to seek infomation on the subject. People everywhere, everyday are finding something wrong with the way the sky looks. Are all these people just imagining it?

I do not pretend to know what you’re motives are for posting your poor grasp of skywatching, as i’ve said before, you very well may be a firm true believer that “chemtrails” are in fact non- existent. But i have looked at both sides of the argument and i am very much swinging towards chemtrails being a very real and potentially hazardous reality.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 14:30, archived)
# Yes, they are all just imagining it.
Maybe they want the attention.

The end.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 14:32, archived)
# I'd say a lot of people aren't so much imagining it as they are reading hokum theories on the internet and being gullible enough to believe them
/just a personal opinion only, I might add.

yes, it is not that i can watch the skies daily, and see they spray on some days and not others, or that if is too windy they simply stop spraying in the middle of the day, or that i see them turning the sprayers on and off. No, it is that i read a theory on the internet.

Wow, you are amazing.

And i read your contrail science page there, did you read the comments at the bottom? No one believes any of the crap written, because we have eyes and can see what is happening, but sadly you don't watch the skies. Stay asleep, it is much safer for your fragile mind.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 17:00, archived)
# it's easier to look up at the skies in wonder
than look down and know you're grounded.
Selective reading of comments simply because they don't agree with the scientific argument put forward does not constitue scientific evidence for your argument. Please, expand your 'research' to look at the rest of the site. Quite enlightening.

Fragile Mind? Pot, Kettle. Black.

and please, answer my question above which you have conveniently ignored.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 17:28, archived)
# a couple of people
asked questions and a couple of comments disagreed without offering anything other than blind refusal to accept.
Just because you are not alone in your madness does not make it any more true.

You can't argue with simple scientific law. Well, YOU can, but not with any conviction or substantive fact.
(, Tue 5 May 2009, 17:53, archived)
# I grew up near Manchester Airport.
I live closer to it today. I'm older than you and I can recall just fine the criss-crossing of water vapour across the skies as a child as they fascinated me. I can remember being on a Wardair 747 in 1980 on the way to Toronto and marvelling that we were actually flying above some of these trails.
There is nothing going on today that is any different that can't be explained by an increase in traffic.

As for a grasp of 'skywatching' I have no idea what that is. But as I have one of these www.scopereviews.com/178ed.html you can be assured I know a bit more than you assume.
