I couldn't get past the frankly atrocious dialogue. That aside, it was good and there were some good performances in it...
however, like a lot of this stuff - I'd rather see it as several 1 hour long episodes which really go into things in detail rather than skating over the surface

I have to say that from the trailers it looks like generic, formulaic Hollywood bollocks that pays absolutely no regard whatsoever to the vision and ethos of the great Gene Roddenberry.
