But it's been described to me as a tesco's value coke, with added side effects thrown in.

Doesn't sound too fab then really.
One person told me it makes you smell like cat's piss, but I think perhaps they just already smelled like that...

IT FUCKING KILLS PEOPLE!!!
Also, physically addictive and leads to social violence.
I just dont understand how "society" can tolerate one rather nasty (oh yeah, tobacco) two nasty chemical vices and make out like methadrone must be illagalised because it was implicated in the deaths of a couple of people.
Yes, this argument is only put about by drug-users and therefore tends to be seen as somewhat unreliable, but frankly - they are in a good position to tell apart the bullshit about drugs from the reality.
Oh God, the INTERNET MADE ME ANGRY AND I HAD TO COMMENT
NO, ORKRAN, NO. *rubs face in it*

it's not really something you can put down to bad luck.
Tobacco is just crap. The only reason that's still legal is because of how addictive it is.

I invite you to take a look at the NHS figures for alcohol-dependance and alcohol-fueled injury...
*rummages aroiund the internet*
"in 2005, 6,570 people died from causes directly linked to alcohol consumption, of these just under two thirds (4,160) died from alcoholic liver disease. Two thirds (67 per cent) of those dying from alcoholic liver disease were men."
www.ic.nhs.uk/pubs/alcohol07
Also, yes, tobacco is truely evil. If there is a hell, the owners of tobacco companies are going straight there.

but this is what I said, you have to do a lot of it. It takes some amount of dedication to drink so much it ruins your liver. Mind you the amount some people drink these days just beggars belief, and I used to think I did a lot of it.

if it is deep fried and consumed with alarming regularity.
So should chicken be banned? No, it fucking shouldn't. People should just take responsibility for what they fucking do. Weed should be legal? Well it isn't, so if you smoke it you're a criminal. Drinking is legal? Yeah, that doesn't mean you should drink a Scotch out in the Smoking area at work, the same way you shouldn't think that smoking a joint in the smoking area is ok. All drugs are bad for you, some are legally sanctioned, get over it.

(i.e. stopped breathing on the way to hospital, resuscitated, or so I'm told)
never for any of the other shit I put through my system.
Even at non-lethal levels I would observe alcohol being responsible for a greater degree of general fuckwittery than any other drug.
LOTS wrong with booze kids (and think whose pockets you're lining)

I've been punched in the face by drunk strangers and hugged by high people, I know which one I prefer. Sometimes I wish something like mephedrone or ecstacy was the legal drug of choice in England, instead of booze.
That said, something like mephedrone hasn't been popular for very long, so there really is very little information about how dangerous it is - which automatically makes it a somewhat risky prospect.

I thought it was a joke, for chavs what can't pronounce "methadone"
turns out it's just another party pill.
Not on the market here, most of ours were piperazine based, though they keep dicking with the laws on them too.

it can make you euphoric and happy and relaxed, but the happy effects might not be as strong or last as long as ecstacy/mdma.
It probably won't stay legal for very long, so if you wanted to take some, then now is the time. I hear you can buy it over the Internet, if you are so inclined.
