they're all from old postcards, pages he's ripped from magazines, etc. When you see the real, physical artworks, it's incredible how 'layered' they are. In some of the scanned versions, you can just about see the roughness.

# Well, not to get overly serious,
but personally I won't be taking the piss on this day. I think WWIII started a year ago, and is about to heat up. Probably.

That doesn't mean we can't laugh, but it's a pretty serious thing.
(, Wed 11 Sep 2002, 5:33, archived)
# i completely agree about the seriousness of the attack
it's the over-the-top sympathy and forced commemoration that pisses me off. newspapers, tv all cashing in on this day.
plus the fact that many more people have died in incidents around the world than on 11/9 and we should remember them too...but we don't.
also, being such a documented attack, there's many photos and stillimages to photoshop.
(, Wed 11 Sep 2002, 5:51, archived)
# All true.
I don't generally watch TV or read newspapers. Most of my information comes from the Net, and I can choose what I like to see. So the hype doesn't bother me as much, since I choose to avoid most of it.

I'm certainly not against other people photoshopping 911, and some of it is actually funny, but I won't be doing it myself today.

And I won't be abusing anyone about it, either. B3ta is a place I come to for fun, fluffiness and being nice to people.
