close. same concept - pint of guinness with a double espresso in the top

so it's concentrated coffee in irish booze, rather than concentrated irish booze in coffee. and guinness/coffee similarities may work.
reckon wetherspoon's is the only place cheap enough to try it out

I could always drive up after work, arrive for about 8.30pm, not drink and then leave at about 9pm in order to get home at a decent time.

Rusholme curries are naff.

There's nowhere these days to get a decent curry there. Now if it's a decent curry in town you're after, may I recommend Akbar's? No it's not a trap, and yes that is another reason why you should go 8D

Slightly on the pricey end of things, but still affordable and you do get what you pay for, unlike in Rusholme where irrespective of what you pay you seem these days to get bland unappealing slop with lumps of gristle in it.

I've got a mate's stag do on Saturday, so I am formally gibbing out of this bash I am afraid :(
