Book a day off work and come to Thorpe Park! For those of you who haven't been over the last few years, it's no longer a kiddie theme park, but has proper massive rollercoasters, plus they just made Stealth 0.5 seconds faster, meaning you can now go from 0-80mph in just 2 seconds!
It's on a school day so that we lack grotty schoolkids and therefore queues. If you are a B3tan who is a grotty schoolkid, I will happily write you an excuse note for the teacher.
If you go to Staines Train station, there is a free bus that takes you to the park. Otherwise I can pick a few people up in my car.
Right, the plan is, meet when the park opens, at 10am, at the gates. If anyone is coming from far away, they are more than welcome to stay at my flat the night before and/or after, and I will drive us all there on the day, but I only have room for 3 passengers in my car, so, first come first served. If you want to stay at mine, you will need to get yourself to Baldock or Letchworth train station (or bus, whatever) and give me a call on my mobile (gaz me for the number please).
*************************Please GAZ me if you intend to crash at mine at any point for this bash, as there is limited space**********************************
I highly suggest people but their tickets in advance from www.thorpepark.com, it works out one heck of a lot cheaper.
See you all there, LOLLERCOASTER!!!!11 and all that.

I accumulated enough Tesco Clubcard points for a free ticket! Hoorj!
Subject to train prices, too. It looks as though I might be able to get a return for £26, but other places say £40. If it's any more than £30 I'll say fuck it.

Where are you coming from? Maybe someone can give you a lift?

It says on the TP website that Staines bus station is only 5 minutes walk away from the train station, but doesn't say how long the bus takes. Does anyone know? I'm aiming to arrive at Staines train station at ~0930 and was wondering if that was sufficient time.

I thought I had a free ticket, but it's actually two for one, and it's too late for me to book and online one. Even if I split the cost with someone else, I really can't afford a £16 ticket on top of a £40 train ride plus lunch. Doubleplus I wasn't looking forward to catching the 0651 train to get to Staines on time. And I suppose I should be revising anyway.
It's a shame, as I was looking forward to going and to meeting you all. I hope you all manage to have a great time without me.
