This is a normal post It just goes to show,
that ultimately both sides, left or right, are made mostly out of ill educated angry morons, ready to lend their unthinking support to whichever douche bag pretends to care about them.

The supporters are broadly as bad as each other, the only difference in this case being that the leader of one group is more open about how awful he is. But rest assured, that if Hilary started whipping people up into a racist frenzy, her supporters would also be willing to oblige.

This is a normal post difficult to reason with a man who's voting for someone because he approves of their hidden agenda

(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 14:25, Reply)
This is a normal post There was a lot of assumption made in that one statement.
I just wanted you to see that Hillary has also been endorsed by the KKK. You can ignore corruption by calling the other guy "Hitler", but you saying it does not make it so.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 14:31, Reply)
This is a normal post people are comparing Trump to Hitler because of his racist language and policies

(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 14:38, Reply)
This is a normal post he has no policies. he's not a politician.
People call him racist because he said we need to stop importing refugees from countries with a known terrorist problem until we can get a handle on how to determine that they're not a threat to the country. That was labelled as "racist" and "Trump's War on Religious Freedom". Two weeks later, the Obama administration announced essentially the same thing, but that was "brave". Then they overturned themselves and just allow anyone, so I presume we'll see more bombings.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 14:46, Reply)
This is a normal post "stop importing refugees" is a policy

This is a normal post That's not what he said
He said you need to stop allowing people of a certain religion in.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 15:11, Reply)
This is a normal post He said people from certain countries with high terrorist activities
He then said many of those countries would be predominantly Muslim countries. I suppose he didn't follow the rote "Islam is a religion of peace" that politicians seem programmed to say, so that must be part of the upset.

This is a normal post I find this quote from the article you linked a reasonable suggestion for someone who is in charge of a nation's security.
"Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life."

"It does not apply to people living in the country, except we have to be vigilant."

Please, tell me what I am missing.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 15:49, Reply)
This is a normal post That's not the critical bit and you know it
"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on,"

That, right there, is the problem.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 16:00, Reply)
This is a normal post That is exactly the critical bit, and you allude to it - until the country's representatives can figure it out.
The US has had a number of mass killings due to Islamic terror. It seems reasonable to slow the influx of people from known terrorist countries, especially since ISIS has stated repeatedly that they are putting terrorists in with the flow of refugees.

Please tell me how stopping the import of people until we can assure that they will not kill the people who are offering them a respite is racist?

This is a normal post If the current administration were doing their job
we wouldn't be having these conversations. Regardless of right or wrong on any side.
I fail to see how the situation is going to get better as it's just got worse and worse since 2009.
I'm not saying Trump is the answer, but I would say Hillary won't make it much better. She's even losing the election, against Trump.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 16:37, Reply)
This is a normal post because you would be discriminating against people based on their skin colour?
it's the dictionary definition of racism.

Predominantly muslim countries is not-very-good code for 'the brown ones'.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 16:38, Reply)
This is a normal post Islam is a religion [of peace, lol] not an ethnicity, nor a race
And yes, to discriminate against a religion is illegal in the US (that pesky "Constitution" you guys keep railing against forbids it).

However, there is nothing that prohibits the executive from assuring that immigrants coming from any specific country are not threats to the safety and security of the country.

This is a normal post False equivalence?
I mean, Hilary isn't whipping people up into a racist frenzy, and there's no reason to think that she would.

Now, just for the sake of the argument, let's imagine that she did start doing that; do you have any evidence or reason to think that her supporters would be willing to oblige? Wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that there'd be something self-fulfilling about any such prediction anyway, inasmuch as that only those willing to oblige would count themselves as her supporters at that point?

This is a normal post A lot of people seem to be under the impression that Trump supporters are morally bankrupt
Imagine if Trump called Hillary supporters deplorables and some of them were subsequently attacked. I don't doubt that many in the media would have no problem painting Trump as an instigator of violence.

This is a normal post Well, it's not as if she hasn't called for the death of a politican before.
Trump may be the nadir of political civility but the reduction to shitflinging has been going on for far longer than he's been campaigning and helped along by many people who call him the monster. The demonisation of Trump is as much a dead canary as his retarded ranting.

This is a normal post Oh no...
I'm not saying Clinton and Trump are equivalent at all, but that they're really the only bit of the left/right equation that AREN'T equivalent.

I definitely think Clinton is the better choice for president for obvious reasons. I just don't think her supporters are any better or worse than trumps supporters. Probably less than 1% of the people voting for either side have actually put any degree of original thought into their decision.
(, Fri 30 Sep 2016, 15:22, Reply)

they attack people, tell them what they can say, wear and do. It's mental. They're acting like right fascists.
