A chum of mine once interviewed her for a post at ITN...
... "Bubblehead" was his most positive comment.

they've really stoked up some nutters

Though the way she sneers at him at the end is worse.

This is true
Hopefully split for a generation still arguing about Brexit.

can't see them calling an election any time soon
Sure they need a bigger majority, but they're more likely to lose what they've got.
So this is what's running the country until 2022.

They won't call one of course
but someone might call no confidence in the government, and they don't have any control over that.
If Johnson is PM, he is hated enough in the tory party that enough tories might rebel and support no confidence.
If that is the case then Labour won't get an outright majority in a GE, they will have to form a coalition with either Lib Dems or SNP.
Both would want to have a platform to remain. 2nd ref at a minimum. Either of those options mean we remain.
It is for this reason that I support and hope for Johnson being PM.
And also Brexit is his mess, he should get the flack for it. Just as long as he is not in power long enough to do much damage.

Bollocks
If there’s one lesson we can learn from the utter clusterfuck of May’s leadership, it’s that the Tory party would vote for Harold Shipman as leader before giving Corbyn another crack at an election.
Johnson would win any vote of confidence, simply by not being Corbyn.

yeah but there's just something about her voice
Not the accent. It's the patronising bitchy useless-HR-manager tone.

That is some Walmart-level US political 'debate' right there, right the way down to her classy response.
Why is it that the UK adopts the very worst of the US? Or is everywhere just fucked now?

Everyone hated Cilla. Get with the program.
Edit: seriously... I've never heard of a celebrity so universally reviled by anyone who ever met her for real. Almost everyone (except for a group of untenably camp men) detested her because she genuinely took delight in intentionally being the biggest bitch she possibly could at all times.

I read up on it when she died,
since celebrities were lining up to tell stories about what a bitch she was.

Former colleagues have described her as having "absolutely no humility whatsoever", with one saying: "I would cross the street to avoid meeting her."

exactly the problem
for most people these tales of dysfunction would be much more worrying than whatever the candidates put up their noses 20 years ago. For the tory membership, who knows?

Nah
She got it from Alex Jones.
He is a character as well. If you look hard you can see the guy behind the curtain who has his hand up Jones's arse.
Not a puppeteer, just some guy.
