Its for waiting till any hype passes and their remaindered/sold cheap secondhand
then you follow an online tutorial at how to remove the filters, motors and possibly replace the metal endcaps* to end up with cheap, reasonable quality headphones with a 50hr battery life.
*Not forgetting the tape to cover the Dyson logo
