that's what I don't like about a face-full of piercings. I've been trying to work it out for ages, but you've pretty much got it right.
I'm never gonna get a tattoo, just not interested, but I can understand getting one to mark a moment in your life, or whatever. Like if you join the fire-brigade and you're particularly proud of it as part of you... ink it.

i know what id get, but what about in a few years time, ok could be dead next week, so doesnt matter if yuo view it that way, but still. plus parents would go ape shit, your never too old for a whooping from them!! as my dad once said, if i ever got a tattoo, he would kick me out of the house, harsh i know, but mates mum said that, and shes now a heroin addict and has a tattoo, so two good reasons to throw her out!! nice vid :D
