This is a link post I wonder how environmentally 'sustainable' being a fat cunt is, in general...
God forbid we tell these people to lose some weight, mind. Body positivity, man!
Title:
Can you shop sustainably if you're plus-size?

This is a normal post You seem to care about this a great deal

This is a normal post I do. The glamorisation of obesity is completely fucking backwards.
And us lot footing the bill for their inevitable obesity related ilnesses takes the piss.
(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 10:23, Reply)
This is a normal post how do you feel about footing the bill for alcohol related illnesses?

(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 11:47, Reply)
This is a normal post That depends.
Is the alcoholic who's alcohol-related illness I'm helping pay for glamorising their alcoholism and telling other alcoholics that it's okay to keep on drinking?

This is a normal post Would you rather they just wander around naked?

(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 11:22, Reply)
This is a normal post If they did
then they might feel the urge to look better naked by getting more fit.

As it is, they think that a particular dress or shirt stops people realising they are a fat cunt.

Spoiler: It doesn't

There is a reason that fit has multiple meanings, one being that you look sexy and another being to have good muscle tone. There are others but they are irrelevant to my point.

This is a normal post If the housebound morbidly obese were forced to lose weight
they would increase their carbon footprint by going on holidays and committing arson
(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 12:10, Reply)
This is a normal post Are they committing arson whilst they're on holiday?
Or is this 2 separate carbon prints? Because the 1st option is more eco-friendly by combining the two.
(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 14:46, Reply)
This is a normal post The two could be combined with a dedicated airline

This is a normal post Except fatties aren't the focus of the majority of clothes produced.
That, unsurprisingly, is focused on those whose sizes are more common and who therefore make a larger share of the market.

Also fatties are more likely to die at a younger age so they don't tend to affect the environment for as long as the rest of us.

This is a normal post If you've ever had a child...
...then you've done more to harm the environment than pretty much anyone who hasn't had a child. One persons obesity doesn't even come close to the footprint of a child, let alone a possible line of descendants.

This is a normal post Well, yes.

(, Thu 19 Sep 2019, 13:36, Reply)
This is a normal post Well, basically yes.
It's either that, or the governments of the world need to agree upon, and then aggressively enforce, a set of rules restricting people from having children without a licence.

Literally anything less than that and we are guaranteed to fuck this planet up to the point we cannot survive on it.

The right to have children is indefensible bullshit.

I'm looking forward to telling my son he's indefensible bullshit this evening.

Should go well.

This is a normal post I didn't say children are.
The idea that you have a right to have children is.

But also, don't let me stop you from telling him, because I imagine that could be quite funny, depending on how old he is.
