Same principle though
Easier to rehang the door than replumb the bog.

It took a few replays to get it, but I think he's put the bog on the wall so that the door can't be closed any more.
Inadvertently showing up one of my pet peeves - bathrooms where there's zero space once you've removed the area swept by the door. Am I supposed to stand IN the bog to open the door, eh?

The hinges being also on the wrong side.
So if James Corden manages to get in to have a shit.
He will have to take a few more to be able to get out.

Same, here hate that. My toliet door was the same, which I didn't get as there was plently of room..
...in the hall. So I hung the door to swing outward instead, worked perfectly.

Must be the same idots that did this in my house:
Might be hard to spot for Firkinfedup... Hint; in what must one NOT screw into when fixing pipes or other things to walls?
("Your mum" is NOT the correct answer)

Nope - but a fair guess.
See vertical black pipe?
The little thingy holding it up?
In what has it been screwed?

Aha - she's dead and cremated - nopetynope.
The vertical tube holder has been screwed into the horizontal waste pipe.
Sewage leak AND joyous methane from the sewer - what's not to love?

Well
A ceramic pipe for the downstairs toilet was also broken due to a bodge job repair by the previous owner.
The raw sewage leaking into the basement was a tad annoying.
Anyhow, the part where I had to lie flat in a trench dug into shit/earth combo.
Then stick my arm up to my elbow in a broken sewer pipe, filled with congealed old person shit, to remove said pipe.
Did have me dry reeking for a few minutes.
I would have been a total wuss at Verdun.

I've never seen that before
A waste pipe buried half an inch under plaster - I think I'd forgive whoever installed the surface pipe unless it was really obvious there was something underneath!
My wife once got a shock from a curtain rail at her mum's flat - when I dug away the plaster around the fixing bracket there was about 1" of unprotected cable where it went between a horizontal conduit to a vertical conduit - the screw had just nicked the live conductor.

Old houses... Bad plumbers.
All the down pipes for that side of the house pass there...
Judging from the materials used, I think this was done in the late 90's at the earliest.
So the MOFO did not use a stud detector when they were already widely available/cheap.
And drove two plinth nails, the shown pipe support and the hot water pipe for the tap straight through lead piping...
He was either stupid or seeking revenge for being forced to work for peanuts.

I should take a picture of the bathroom before I rip it up...
Pink tilling and dark floral pattern.
Same pattern on the walls and on the curtains.
A bit like Will Smith used to have his tracksuit, shoes and cap made in the same fabric... The HORROR!
