This is a link post Space Station Found On Mars

Tinfoil hat time. What the fuck *is* this thing? I sparked up Google Earth, put in co-ords 71°49'19.07"N 29°33'7.18"W (the co-ords in the article are wrong) and looked for myself. It's there. It looks clearly artificial. So what the fuck is it?

Could be an error in Google's stitching algorithm, could just be a very unusual rock formation. Or it could be something dumped by NASA but I doubt that as it's too damn big.

I'm going for strange rock formation. Or a joke.

most likely some sort of artefacting in the video compression (a la the face on mars). Or maybe its the face on mars's braces for its teeth.

Or maybe it is actually a space station, and next week we will have videos of UFOs entering and leaving the place...

who knows? I love that some people are so emphatic that it is not alien! how the hell can you know? maybe it is, maybe it isn't, i thought we were supposed to have scientifically open minds?
