Everybody hates cops until you need them. At first, I thought they were trying to break up a fight. Here's a tip, even if the cops are wrong, you still get your ass handed to you or killed. Leave, document and report, don't sit there screaming like a banshee or the trust fund baby you are about how wrong things are.

'The group was visited by academic registrar Dr Michael Glover on Friday before a letter was sent which asked them to end their trespass on the site.
University spokesman Peter Dunn has since confirmed the protesters could be forcibly removed.
He said: “As with all of these occupations, we reserve the right to bring a protest to an end if protesters do not bring it to an end themselves.”'

The rest of us should really just shut the fuck up and let them run things.

I now have the patience of a five year old. Don't even ask how to do partial differential equations, let along Castigliano's theorem. I do believe that people who forget happen to be experiencing life to the extent that they just can't keep the old stuff in there any more. At least that's my attempt to feel better about having several degrees, and not knowing shit.

All you have to do is feed the world's starving, give everyone a decent wage, free education for all well into your twenties and a decent pension at 60.
How hard can that be?

Is a tactic which has been discussed for ending a protest during at least one sit-in at the university I work at.
We ended up not doing it, but I'm pretty sure they would have been out of there as soon as their 3G data ran out.
