Any chance of a filter on /links that excludes youtube/Vimeo links? Optional obviously, like with the 'only b3tans' work' button (which I've never really understood the rationale for but that's a different story)
They are blocked at my place of work, meaning that if I click over to /links then at any given time there are only about 3 links that I can access...

Change the "hide" feature so that the rest of the thread remains visible.
Since it's only going to be a picture that people want to hide, would it be possible to code it so that the image in a "hidden" post doesn't show up, but everything else does?

Make an option to post on either Qotw or /talk but not both.
It's getting pretty damn dumb, so B3tans should only be allowed one or the other. No more back and forth trolling/baiting. You choose your side once and that's it. Exceptions only at the request/permission of mods from both sides.

Do away with the image challenges for a while
it'll cut down on the number of tenuous, or shoe-horned reposts that occur, and by association the number of moans about the number of reposts.

either that, or reduce it to a fortnightly challenge (either fortnight long, or week on, week off)

challenges should be fun, but there's far too many people getting uppity with 'rules' , ("you shouldn't post this", "I meant this" "tenuous repost" etc) week in and week out.

Can we get a 'popular' for Top Tips like for Links, so you see those from the last few days with the highest clicks. Actually I have no idea how many/if anyone clicks Top Tips so maybe it would be empty most of the time.

Add extra filters for youtube auto-embedding.
Now twitter/youtube is all about the youtu.be shorter version and loads of videos posted to links don't embed, also some people use an embedding url which stops it embedding.

eg: www.youtube.com/embed/M46wDXbHE3k

So maybe you can add a bit to convert these to 'vanilla' urls or make them embed like normal in whatever way regular urls do.

Missing reply button in qotw answers
The 'reply' button is missing from most of the qotw posts I can see, but I can see it when when I click through to the replies other people have left. In fact, on page 7 of the 'bedroom disasters' qotw, only BrianHequator, DBS and grumpypolecat's posts have a reply option.

I'm logged in, using chrome 12.07 on a mac. Is this a new feature or am I being dim?
