Creepy!
Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

it still amazes me that people do this,
I've got loads of tattoos but they're all hidden behind clothing unless I wish them not to be, that ear's going to be difficult to hide if required. I certainly wouldn't employ the owner, not sure if that's discrimination or not?

Yes it is discrimination.
Why would you not employ them based on their choice of body adornment? It seems more than a little ironic coming from someone who is heavily tattooed, which, Shirley, at the very least is a sign of independent-mindedness, if not open rebellion against their perception of societal norms.

So.
As much use as self-perceived intelligence, talent or beauty, then?
If yes, please watch every second of the opening rounds of Britain's Got Talent, X Factor, and any number of other demonstrations of illusory superiority

in a retail enviroment like mine it wouldn't be greatly received by my customers
I'm all for expression but there's a limit surely?

I absolutely agree.
Which is why I won't allow anyone ugly, badly dressed, or too tall or short to work on my shop floor.

Why would anyone want to look like Droopy the Dog?
He doesn't look vewy vewy haaapy.

He's bloody stupid.
I've always looked on piercings and stretching as adornment and this just makes him look like an idiot.

Very handy for when you finally realise what a prick you look like.

I happen to like stretched lobes but I only went up to 11mm so they would stretch back down if I wanted to, which I did.

A sensible approach.
Personally, I hate the things. But then I don't like tattoos or brussel sprouts either.
