This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Judging by some of the posts in this QOTW, b3ta could make an excellent start on fixing the world by removing a fairly large quantity of b3tans from it.

E.g. "light brown bottom feeders", see somewhere below.

Not any more
Either he's removed himself or he's been kicked out.

Point of order: has anyone actually ever been banned from b3ta?

Didn't Manley get banned?

Nah the post's still there.

So it is.
My mistake - didn't realise it was that far back.

People get banned quite often don't they?
Spammers usually get their accounts deleted, and I think there was some kerfuffle over on /talk a few months back where a regular (and by most accounts fucked-up liar) got the hoof.

Spammers don't count.
I never go on /talk so it could happen quite frequently there for all I know.

Wowo.
You know it's serious when people stop using "b&" and "use the ban hammer!"

The Ban Hammer
is lightly wielded by the mods but is is used on a regular basis - mainly in links for blatant spamming

A noob is more likely to be banned than a regular. For a regular, you're more likely to be nawty-stepped and warned before banning.

but there are some sorts of behaviour where the hammer will come crashing down without warning.

cheers

Who would you ban, Legless?

(, Wed 28 Sep 2011, 20:30, closed)
There was someone on /talk ages ago called Bou, who caused the entirety of South Africa to be IP blocked.
She started stalking people and phoning their employers and generally being a massive lunatic. We've had quite a few folk permabanned over there.

After a little search
Found this quite quickly, never realised PA was such a Twunt!
(, Wed 28 Sep 2011, 12:53, closed)
The racism in PA's post was bad
but even if you delete the bottom feeders comment it still reads like a Daily Fail manifesto

People with piercings and tattoos shouldn't have children!? WTF?!
