B3ta Collaboration 2008
Maybe potential for a 2 week challenge depending on what people could do, or how many people they wanted to work with.

Team up with another B3tan (or indeed a group of b3tans) and produce a collaborative effort on anything which allows you to share talents and skills.

Create a cartoon or funny image between you, or an animation, or make a video for /links.

The possibilities are endless.

As are the possibilities for exclusion. Do you not think this place is cliquey enough? I've no doubt it could turn up some excellent results and could be a lot of fun, provided you've got someone to work with.

Perhaps it could be intimidating to newbies. Maybe it could run as an ongoing challenge, like the icons?

as it's only for a week, it doesn't exclude individual work all that much
people can still post their own stuff, I was just thinking it would be nice to see what results could come if people put their heads together and tried being creative on /board. It would only be for a week anyway, and by the virtue of having no 'brief' for what to do, would still let individuals post their own stuff as normal on /board without worry of a flux of 'samey' challenge entries and a flood of reposts drowning them out.

Anyway, just a suggestion, and 'cliquey' or not, be nice to get b3tans actually having a laugh together on here as opposed to being bitchy, nazi or generally calling people out on stuff which seems to happen a lot when the challenges come out.

i suggested a collaboration compo last year sometime, but it never caught on. i hope it does this time.

I agree with HT.
His suggestion was good, and so is TGA's, so if we start small and work up, maybe over the two weeks, it'll work out pretty well.
