Oh noes
Mr Bins laptop has had to go to the hospital.
That means that for the next week or so we will have one computer between us.
The upshot of all this is that we will not both be able to sit talking shite to people on the internet. For one of us to do it would be unfair so we might have to talk to each other!

It might be like the power cuts in the 70s. Look out for a baby in 9 months!

Memories of Saturday night
As others have already mentioned, Saturday was a top night. My memory is already hazy of some bits though, owing to the monumentally fuckttard decision to start drinking on a stomach containing 1.5 National Express sarnies. RWH's photos have brought some back though.

Abiding memories:

Meeting Rakky outside King's Cross after a couple of misunderstandings (bloody time delay on text messages adding to the confusion).

Actually finding the fucking pub!

Pooflake's impromptu performance outside being terminated by the staff because they had neighbours to consider (it was about 9:30, and he was making up a b3ta song with an acoustic guitar ffs - hardly 'Monsters of Rock').

Tourette's getting her arse out.

Tourette's getting her norks out against Captain Placid's windscreen, much to his and Pooflake's obvious delight.

Wookiee literally felling Rakky with a well timed one liner about ejaculate that had her on the ground laughing.

Catching up with some familiar faces, and getting to know some new ones.

Trooping off to the nearest kebab shop after the hunger/beer headache started to kick in.

The rest's a bit of a blur...

Food Question!!!
Is it safe to make a pepper sauce from a mix, then keep some of it in the fridge/freezer for later use???

I would make it from scratch to save me the bother of course, but in my current frazzled state of mind I'm far from capable.

Can we get a /JMG board?
It'd make things MUCH easier for fat people wanting to moan at me, as well as an easy route for those looking to discuss JMG fashion, and the like.

I'm very popular.

I have invented a new Olympic sport
Aggressive downhill pushchair deathmatch.

Strap one 18 month old into lightweight Maclaren pushchair.

Locate a competetive 4 year old.

Head into Delamere Forest.

CHARGE!

Bugger me but she loved it, especially when the nose dug in and daddy had to perform the 'Dance of Not Getting Your Nutsack Ripped Off' while she was thrown against her straps with the G-Forces pulling her shoes off.

Followed by Daddy going 'HurfHurfHurfPtoiee' of course.

I feel a bit tired now.

Those 'All Terrain Travel Systems'? I Shit 'em.*

Bash
It's Sunday Monday evening and to quote a famous film I still feel like a pig has shat in my head.

Thanks to everyone who turned up to the bash on Saturday, I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed meeting each of you. You're all a bloody decent bunch, I wish I could have spent more time chatting to you all.

We took a while getting across London but eventually made it back to my brother's place at 10:30pm, whereupon we had a couple of drinks and hit the hay around 1-ish. Yesterday we caught up with pals and upon returning to my brother's place we joined in a competitive game of dominoes which is how we ended up drinking gin with my mother until 2-ish this time.

Great fun was had. I can't wait until the next bash...

Mornin' all!
Well, I'm just sitting having a sarnie after clearing the wreckage from Placidspawn's 21st birthday bash. "Sunnyside" (the maximum security home for the violent elderly in which I abide) was decked out for a gala, all bunting and balloons, the BBQ was lit and beer was strategically placed in buckets of ice in case of terminal refreshment lack. A truly great night was had by all, Pooflake excelled himself on the geeetar, aided and abetted by my good self, much food was cooked and devoured, many laughs were had and there was minimal clearing up to do!

But it's just hit me, my little girl is now 21.

Other than that, absolutely bostin' with the added bonus of Pooflake NOT shitting himself! What are the chances of that!?

How was your Sunday evening guys & gals?

Bank Holiday blues
Morning all! It's holiday monday and I'm at work on what promises to be the quietest day of the year for taxis. Harumph!

I have the Mission Impossible theme tune on my MP3 player so I can pretend I'm on secret missions when I'm walking around Tesco.

Do you have any tunes you keep for special occasions?

And how was your weekend?

Yet more internet help please
although I'm pretty sure that this is a very basic easy to answer question.

I've just found a very useful website that I would like to save pages from. I'm sure there is a way of doing this without cutting and pasting them into word or saving them as individual bookmarks, I just don't know what it is.

Basically it's about 10 pages of questions and then pages of the same questions with the answers revealed, so I'd like to save both sets as I don't trust myself to not cheat and look at the answers as I go along.

Please and thank you :)

Sunday Morning Virtual Sweepstake
Who will be the first bash veteran/survivor to surface on the wonderful t'interweb?

(And spill the beans, and provide pictorial evidence)

I suspect that there won't be many peoples around following last night's bash
I'm certain it was enjoyable

I, on the other hand, experienced my own dream bash (most likely brought on by lack of drugs) in which I met a series of OT regulars at a juice bar, cunningly called Juice, in London.

the dream is rapidly slipping away but I remember that Devil in Tights, Madam Marlboro and Beckyconsonants were there (despite me not having met them in person).

most of the dream was made up of my brother and I trying to get to the bash by bike, through deserted backstreets of London, while being pursued by a teenage girl on a bike, intent on robbing or murdering us....

it's ok though, because I managed to knock her off and knobble her bike so we could make good our escape.

my brain does weird things when not under the inlfuence.

The 'I'm not going to the bash' thread.
Well I'm not. But the weather is really nice so I'm likely to be sat outside but I'm still not going to the bash as I'm skint.
Why are you not going?

working on a Saturday
There's only one thing worse than being let down by colleagues and finding out twenty minutes before you leave on a Friday that you have to work Saturday. That's mis judging how long the normally hour and a half journey will take, arriving at work an hour early only to find you can't even get in for an hour as the shopping centre is closed until nine.

Grrrr...

I have four olympic handover tickets for Sunday
if any QOTW'rs would like them. I can't go, despite them being free tickets, but gaz me if you want them and I can meet you in North London to give you them in person.

I figured since there's so many of you lot going to be in London this weekend, someone might want them if you're here until Sunday.
