I am on step 20 of 25 in assembling my TV unit. It says I should have 4 short dowels left and instead I have 2 long dowels. Either I've fucked up at an earlier stage or they fucked up in the packing.
Dunno what to do now. If I had a saw I could cut them in half I suppose.

What excitement does it hold for you today, offtopic?
I shall be mostly cleaning my kitchen and trying to finish a book I've been trying to finish for about a month.

Who would you like to despatch, silence, or even as the special forces gentlemen say; "Slot"? And how would you do it?

Yeah it is a bit isn't it.
Looks like I'm going to be stuck at home on my own this evening as my missus has to work. What delights or otherwise does Freeder Neet hold for YOU, you prick?

When was the last time you were told you were told you couldn't afford something?
Like the sale person wouldn't recognise Oprah.
When was the last time you went unnoticed?
(Not you, Frank)

I was also riding the Midnight Bongle Express. Can't imagine what I could've been dreaming about. What wakes you up in the middle of the night saluting the troops?
Alt: What the fuck is the matter with you people? You haven't got the sense you were born with.
Altalt: I'm not a fan of lawyers, but being eaten in a gruesome yet comedic way by a dinosaur in a PG film is 'not on' and maybe even 'beyond the pale'. What do you think kids?

I love the whole Croundfunding revolution that has popped up over the last year or two. The basic idea is you make a video and pitch an idea to websites like www.indiegogo.com www.kickstarter.com , and you lay down different goals such as £5 and you get your name on a list, £50 and you get the product, £100 you get a limited edition product, £5000 and you get 50 of the product.
But it's used for all sort of things, like music projects, films, gadgets'n'gizmos, software.... anything really. Some projects are producing rediculous amounts of money, like this one that has hit the $9m marker.
If you make your goal, the money gets released/taken, otherwise, not. It's like a Dragon's Den really, I might go for it with my latest idea.
