Quite possibly going to the cinema with a sexy redhead
to see a film about Nicolas Cage being angry and a demon and driving a car.

Alt: No, I've eaten one that big on my own, but usually just cheese and tomato.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:20, 6 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I'm taking you out for a steak as big as a toilet seat!

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:21, Reply)
a car about a car?

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:21, Reply)
Maybe it's a drive in?

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:22, Reply)
I'm an idiot.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:27, Reply)
You never invite me out to the picture house any more.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:24, Reply)
I'm not a redhead :/

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:26, Reply)
The exact colour of your hair isn't really its distinguishing feature though, is it?

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:28, Reply)
This is true
And I'm also not going to the cinema with Lampers, otherwise she'd have said "with a sexy spikehead".
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:29, Reply)
Stickleback?

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:30, Reply)
If you like, yes
The 'sexy' bit is most important though.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:31, Reply)
Sexy?
Maybe. Many-chinned? Definitely.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:00, Reply)
You got 'sexy' and 'many-chinned' the wrong way 'round
Enjoy the film and company though!
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:02, Reply)
that film looks fucking shit
if it's the one I think it is
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:28, Reply)
It looks fucking awesome.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:29, Reply)
This, I fucking love shit Cage films
"Next" is a fucking masterpiece.

Charms is going to sit me down, lovingly, and make me watch the Wicker Man

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:32, Reply)
That's an exception,
because the original is so fucking good.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:34, Reply)
Now this raises a serious question:
Should I watch the new one, or will it annoy me too much?

For reference, I once decided that I shouldn't judge Steve Martin's remake of The Pink Panther without seeing it. I didn't expect it to do justice to the original films and therefore didn't go in with high hopes. But even then, it was so appallingly awful that I feel those two hours of my life have been wasted. Will Cage's version of Wicker Man have the same effect? (Or will it be funnier than Steve Martin?)
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:40, Reply)
I've heard it's offensivly bad.
Maybe watch it drunk.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:49, Reply)
The best bits compilation on youtube is a thing of beauty.
More punching than Al's pre-wedding bash and some terrible acting.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:59, Reply)
i've never really watched much on youtube
because the browser on my old laptop was so old it couldn't cope.

but now i finally have my new pink laptop online, i can - i was watching the "friends" fuck-up and gag reels the other night, hilarious.

To be fair, a film with a title like "Drive Angry: 3D"
is going to be taken seriously by nobody except possibly Nicolas Cage himself.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:30, Reply)
It has Amber Heard in it, who is stupidly hot

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:30, Reply)
And gay!

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:33, Reply)
Bi I heard
The best kind of lezza
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:34, Reply)

She was on Top Gear at the weekend and was stupidly good looking!
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:35, Reply)
I don't know this girl
*Googles*
But I want to. I don't normally go for blondes, but she's rather good looking.

That's pretty cool

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:35, Reply)
depends how you find it, labs
i mean, just say it was by googling the username of a 19 year old student because you are wondering how she could possibly still be single, would that be cool?
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:56, Reply)
Do you not know what a Charmander is?!
They're awesome. But I'm more a water-starter than a fire-starter myself.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:00, Reply)
yes
but to be googling it whilst other people are talking about your sexy flatmate charmander at the exact same time would be a huge coincidence, no??
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:02, Reply)
Steady on, no need to pander to Charm
She's not that sexy.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:06, Reply)
ach, i'm perfectly steady, just pissing around 'cos it's friday
just seemed that the reaction to the mention of her was a google image search, and this merited some piss-taking for being a leetle bit creepy.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:07, Reply)
Eh he might have found the picture a while ago and just saved it
I do that all the time with friends, or if I want to insult Monty.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:08, Reply)
that would still mean he went out looking for it in the first place
there's no defence to this, trust me. i'm a lawyer. in fact, i think you're making it worse for both of you.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:11, Reply)
Trust me, you have to prove beyond reasonable doubt
Working for the defence all I have to do is make the jury doubt your version of events by offering up alternatives.

Why would I be making it worse for me?
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:14, Reply)
mention of hot girl
results in "ooh look what i just HAPPENED to have on my computer, what a coincidence" picture. no jury would buy that. case dismissed, go to jail, do not collect £200, you fucking nonce.

you are making it worse for you by defending this course of action. sad times.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:15, Reply)
You can't prove he didn't have knowledge of that pic existing before hand
Therefore you can't find him guilty.

Everyone's entitled to a fair defence, it's part of what makes our justice system.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
i don't need to prove it
i just need to prove it to the satisfaction of the jury. they'll take one look at him, and he'll be lucky to see daylight again before the age of 92.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:24, Reply)
If he dresses up smart he'll be fine
Old women are the most judgmental of jury members, and if they like the look of him from the start then they've already made up their mind.

It's crazy, like female jurors are more likely to vote against a woman in a contested rape case (she says she said no, she was drunk, he says she consented), because she "dressed up like a slut, got drunk, it's her own fault". It's maddening, but worryingly common in those cases.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:28, Reply)
A Squirtle cake with a similar theme
Would be a damned sight harder to achieve.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:03, Reply)
Whereas a bulbasaur one is easy.
Leave it for several months, boom, plant-type.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:05, Reply)

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
So was I
Though I didn't watch tv in university, nor did I own a gameboy, so my exposure to Pokemon was very limited.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:15, Reply)
Loser. Misty was well up for it.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
I once made a larp adventure
loosely based on pokemon. I think it took a couple of encounters for the players to work out that the 'throw these mushrooms and a little creature appears and help you fight' mechanism may have been plagerised
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:21, Reply)
Hahaha!
Why is everyone else staring at us? Weirdos...
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:23, Reply)
yeah, weirdos
I suspect there are other people on here who've larped, they're just lying low
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:25, Reply)
I'm implying the mould would make it a plant-type.
