so, that thread is too long for me to jump into.
Why're you still awake?
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:03, 30 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Because I haven't gone to bed yet.
Aight?

And I am working on more mad rhymes.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:04, Reply)
Evening
because I ate a pie

That could almost be an Afroman song.

It's only 6:10 pm (18:10 for you euro types) and I'm drunk from a snow day and too
much shoveling and whisky.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:07, Reply)
Because it's my first day off in over a month
And I'm making the most of slobbing out in my PJs doing the sum total of fuck all. I woke up at 8 a.m. to do it.

You got anything resolved with the flatmates yet?
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:22, Reply)
not really no.
But I'm going home on thursday if I don't hear from any of the dozen places I dropped my resumes into so I can get a few nights of quiet and sleep. :)
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:26, Reply)
That sounds like a plan
I can't deal with noise when I'm trying to sleep, and my insomnia is bad at the best of times.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:27, Reply)
Firealarm went off at 5 am this morning.
I was NOT impressed. At all.
I ran out in my dressing gown and nothing else. I forgot to put pants on. So I had to stand with my dressing gown tightly folded over myself.

5 am does not agree with me and clothes choices.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:35, Reply)
Oh, once I'm asleep it's another matter
I'm well known for sleeping through fire alarms.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:38, Reply)
I can't. I'm a light sleeper in an environment I'm not used to.
Or one with lots of noise changes.
I can sleep through my alarm at home, just not here.

Plus this alarm is loud enough to wake 56 students from ONE point, which just happens to be 3m from my door.

*sleep deprived hugs*
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:41, Reply)
it's okay though, I lived.
And I made some origami flowers and stuff to put around my little room.

And I had an 8 am class of Anatomy and Physiology - which was really interesting!
*determined to find a positive*
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:45, Reply)
And I have chilli cheese and have spent 22 hours in my PJs so far!
Today is a good day.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:47, Reply)
that sounds really, really good.
I'm gonna make a zucchini bake soon for lunch.
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:25, Reply)
Oh wow, that sounds lush!
What do you put in it?
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:31, Reply)
Zucchini.
And tomatoes, basil, parsley, rice, salt, pepper, mozarella, garlic and onion.

Allllll yummy things.

Getting wound up at local racists
who are internet-stalking me. Possibly too wound up, and I might have sent a few aggressive emails/tweets/youtube messages I shouldn't have. The main guy is "wr9droitwich" on youtube (if anyone feels like insulting him from afar, please do). A few years ago he posted an insultingly-edited vid of me on youtube and yahoo with my full name attached so family/friends/work people could see it as one of the top-five google results for my name + the town I live in. He's a rabid BNP supporter, like a lot of people in this town.

I might just have to delete my twitter, youtube and b3ta account (same name, probably still googleable if I change it) and back off. I'm up against too many dodgy idiots who could make a lot of trouble for me. I hate this town.

Knew I should have watched a film tonight instead of farting around online.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:43, Reply)
heh, see he's closed his account
probably because of me
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:47, Reply)
Only just got back from the pub quiz
We won the money tonight, which I'm quite happy about. Granted, I only got £13 of it, but it's better than nothing.
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:48, Reply)
that's another night out right there

(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:52, Reply)
If only, that'd only get me 4 pints
Unless I went to Spoons, in which case that'd get me 7 pints of Ruddles, hmm....
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:54, Reply)
well suppose it's a quiet late-evening at your local
not that quiet late-evenings at local pubs are serving me well at the moment (see above); you're right - better off spending £30, travelling and drinking properly somewhere good but less often I'm thinking
(, Mon 7 Mar 2011, 23:59, Reply)
I'm lucky to have a cracking local really
It's a rock pub, but no-one gives a shit what you're wearing in there, you'll see chavs and goths playing pool together, it's ace.

Sadly, it's also £3 a pint!
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:03, Reply)
man totally envious right here
I have to fork out a fiver for a return bus ticket to travel eight miles for the nearest vaguely cool pub. One day I will leave this town for dust. One day.
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:10, Reply)
Oof, where are you based?

(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:12, Reply)
D(et)roitwich, (wild) West Midlands
Bit late replying, but hey, and might go to bed soon. But appreciate the interest. I'm a lot more fortunate than most, just live in a small town when I'm a big city person. That will change sooner or later.
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:43, Reply)
I'm not sleepy.

(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:46, Reply)
is there any place you're going to?

(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:48, Reply)
South-east Bradford, tomorrow morning.
Aside from that, no.
(, Tue 8 Mar 2011, 0:50, Reply)
