Morning and what a lovely one it is again
I am now drinking coffee in the office and about to go and seek the croissant of smugness

I had a surreal experience, trying to help a bunch of french tourists order a curry in a curry house. Their English wasn't up to much and sadly neither was the waitress's. I nearly ordered vindaloo for all, but then decided not to be a cunt

Had an amazing day yesterday. Got to be in the audience of my favourite radio show ever Fighting Talk. Got a photo with the host Colin Murray. Spent the rest of the day getting drunk with my girl, spent a bit of time round the in-laws who are always a good laugh. Lie-in this morning and waiting for cooked breakfast in bed. Later this afternoon I'll have a gorgeously sunny drive home with the latest Kasabian album which I've discovered makes for great driving music.

I am smug due to the football result last night

I also am a little fragile this morning, I tried some expensive scotch in various ways - neat, with spring water, with spring water ice, with soda - and decided I REALLY like whisky and soda. At least this whisky. Plus over half a bottle of wine.

I first wrote "whisky and soad" which I don't think would be as enjoyable.

I won ninety quid on the National yesterday.
Although I'm still annoyed that I did Niche Market e/w with Ladbrokes instead of Paddy Power, would have won £120 cos they were paying out upto 5th (it finished 5th). Oh well, can't complain.
