just watch it
it's sweet
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:30, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Sweet as in 'aww'
or sweet as in awesome?
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:33, Reply)
all of the above
mostly as in awesome
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:36, Reply)
Him up there says it's one for the fans
do you need to know lots of DW backstory?
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:37, Reply)
not massive amounts
but if you've been watching the series there are quite a few hints which you can assume are related to the big mysteries this series
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:38, Reply)
I've watched the first episode and a half
those silence things are fucking terrifying.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:42, Reply)
Black Sheep is on now though.
What do I do berk. What. Do. I. Do.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:51, Reply)
If you've not watched Black Sheep before
watch it, it's very silly. Doctor Who can be just as easily iplayered in the morning.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:53, Reply)
The same could be said for Black Sheep
I'm going with Doctor Who.

And a beer. I've been good this evening and I fancy a beer. So it is now beer o'clock.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 0:55, Reply)
Well, by the time Black Sheep finishes
it will be silly o clock in the morning. Perhaps DW is a better idea. But you should definitely watch black sheep; it's immensely daft and fun.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:01, Reply)
I've seen Black Sheep before. It made me laugh.
So that can go on Sky+, I'm watching Doctor Who now.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:04, Reply)
Good plan.
I'm going to finish my spliff and listen to Nina Simone.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:05, Reply)
I could really fancy a smoke.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:10, Reply)
Don't do it, Jeff.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:11, Reply)
I cannee hold it Captain!

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:14, Reply)
A normal one or a naughty one?

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:13, Reply)
Either.
Although a spliff would probably be better than baccy.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:14, Reply)
Are you coming to Blousie's?

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:18, Reply)
Two weeks and counting.
God, I can't wait.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:18, Reply)
I am muchly looking forward to it
but I know you're coming, I was asking Jeff.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:22, Reply)
I was just joining in the conversation :(

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:23, Reply)
I'd love to meet DG
And to meet berk when I'm sober too.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:24, Reply)
Oh dear, reading it back, I sound mean
I didn't mean to be!
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:26, Reply)
I hate you.
not really
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:28, Reply)
I will make you a cake specially
and write 'sorry' on it in icing.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:33, Reply)
I'd rather have an onion bahji.
Not got much of a sweet tooth; have to be really in the mood.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:36, Reply)
I make a damnfine quiche, if that's any good to you?
or falafel?
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:37, Reply)
Quiche is good.
I don't think I've had falafel before.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:39, Reply)
It's a bit like a bhaji I suppose
but made of coriander and chickpeas.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:41, Reply)
That sounds nice.
Here's a tip... when the supermarket has fresh herbs in their 'reduced' aisle, buy them all, chop 'em up and freeze them. Much better than buying dried as they retain the fresh flavour.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:44, Reply)
Cheers for the tip
but I'm already all over that shit :)
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:47, Reply)
2p bunches of herbs in Asda ftw!

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:51, Reply)
How do you know when a gay has burguled your house?
The carpets have been cleaned and there is a quiche in the fridge.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:40, Reply)
+ AIDS in your hoover.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:41, Reply)
I knew a gay bloke who got raped by a hoover.
I phoned the hospital to see how he was doing, the nurse said 'he's picking up'
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:48, Reply)
Sounds like he was dyson with death...

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 2:00, Reply)
No. Sadly.
I've opted to go to Ibiza for a few days instead.

(And I've turned off Doctor Who. Posting here stopped me from focusing on it, I'll watch it later)
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:22, Reply)
You are rubbish on both counts.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:27, Reply)
I know.
I will try and reorganise my life so that I can spend more time with Internet geeks soon.

Promise.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:29, Reply)
Good lad.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:33, Reply)
Seriously.
I would like to attend more bashes. But I'm sure a liability, I'm wondering if you're all ready for me and the fact that most nights, I end up in A+E.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:35, Reply)
That just adds to the lols
besides, you didn't see the state of Monty last time we were in London.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:38, Reply)
How bad was he?

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:44, Reply)
Pretty wobbly
from what I recall, at least; I'd managed to fall asleep.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:48, Reply)
We'll look after you.
By "look after" I mean "point and laugh" as you roll around in the gutter.

Speaking of rolling... one more before bed, I think.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:38, Reply)
The weekend Blousie stayed with you left me scarred.
I'd been on the cloudy and put my tooth through my tongue.

It bled for a few days, turns out, if I'd had a couple of stiches put in it, I wouldn't now have a lump on my tongue.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:42, Reply)
Black Sheep o' clock.
/Real ale lols.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:02, Reply)
Lordy man, what are you doing awake?
what's your verdict on tonight's episode, then?
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:04, Reply)
*puts fingers in ears*
Don't tell me!!
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:05, Reply)
I'm counterbalancing the missus
who has been asleep all day, and still is. I think she's going for some kind of record.

A good episode, much better than last week's. Next week's is, by all accounts, really fucking disturbing.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:07, Reply)
I thought that about those Silence things
in the first two episodes. They shit me right up. I quite liked Russell T 'gay as a rainbow' Davies but I'm glad to see the back of him.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:10, Reply)
I think the Moff is doing a grand job.
Much more layered, although it could put people off a bit.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:12, Reply)
Had another rollie yet?

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:04, Reply)
I've had two.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:05, Reply)
Rollies taste nicer than packet cigarettes
trufact. Unless they're those cherry things Lampers has, they're delicious. Or unless I'm pissed and it's a menthol. Nothing better than a menthol fag if you're hammered.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:07, Reply)
I do miss the menthols, if I'm honest.
But, £13 a week as opposed to £7 a day wins out. I do still buy a pack of menthols for through the week at work though.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:08, Reply)
Get menthol filters then.
Buy yourself a box of swan, extra slim menthol filters, and turn your rollies into a hand-rolled polo.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:09, Reply)
I had thought about that.
The filters are ludicrously expensive for not very many compared with the normal ones, though.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:10, Reply)
You get about 100+ in a box.
For a quid it is hardly bad value.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:12, Reply)
I thought the menthols only came in boxes of about 25, but cost the same as normal ones?
It was the missus that said this, though, so she may be wrong.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:14, Reply)
Your Doris isn't correct
www.everyonedoesit.co.uk/online_headshop/swan-menthol-filter-tips---120-pack.cfm?iProductID=4656

Available from most good newsagents (and some bad ones too), expect to pay similar, no more than a quid.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:15, Reply)
Aha!
Thanks Jeff. I shall keep an eye open.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:16, Reply)
If you prefer a minty smoke.
Then pick some up tomorrow when you buy your Sunday paper.

You'll find rolling a bit easier if you aren't yet 100% about the baccy/skin combo, as you'll have a slightly more solid end to grip as well.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:18, Reply)
You can't beat a nice cigar after a fantastic meal.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:08, Reply)
Cigars remind me of my dad
I don't like the smell or the taste. Kreteks, I think those cherry ones are called. Marvellous things.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:12, Reply)
It's a real shame that smoking is a bad thing.
And that it makes you smell.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:16, Reply)
It really does.
I hate coming home from my parents with all my clothes stinking to high heaven.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:18, Reply)
Only to get home and start smoking?
Is Lenor really that bad?
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:19, Reply)
*golf clap*

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:23, Reply)
You don't want Tennis Clap.
That would be bad.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:24, Reply)
I'm ashamed to admit I laughed at that.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:25, Reply)
I've still got it Toots!
*Jazz hands exits*
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:26, Reply)
Why I oughtta...

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:27, Reply)
Not too loudly, I hope.
Wouldn't want to disturb the neighbours by making a racquet, now.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:27, Reply)
Nah. The score would remain 'love all'
Berk and tennis coach sitting in a tree....
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:28, Reply)
P-L-A-Y-I-N-G.

(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:29, Reply)
Tennis in a tree?
unlikely.
(, Sun 15 May 2011, 1:31, Reply)
Who said anything about tennis?
