I have a shitload of housework to do
but I'm putting it off in case I get any better offers.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:02, 3 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I can't do that.
I hate mess.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:03, Reply)
I hate mess too
but at this stage, the house has gone beyond mess and into carnage.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:04, Reply)
You've been possessed by the spirit of Mr Trebus?

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:05, Reply)
possessed?
I fucking married him!
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:06, Reply)
Aw he was a ornery old coot wasn't he.
Bless!
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:06, Reply)
I always felt really sorry for him.
Poor man just wanted to be left alone.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:09, Reply)
He would have been left alone if his gaff didn't reek to high heaven and attract rats.

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:10, Reply)
There was that.
I don't know. I'm not qualified enough to make comment beyond sympathy.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:16, Reply)
mr b3th really is like that
won't throw anything away because it's 'worth something', then can't find a place for it, so just leaves it on top of other stuff, then moans like hell if anything mysteriously 'disappears'.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:11, Reply)
I know a couple of people like that.
I was one of them. It's amazing what effect a clearout can have. Like seeing the floor.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:17, Reply)
See I can't let it get to that stage.
I had to clean up every day in England, dishes and stuff like that bugged me.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:07, Reply)
Do you want to come to my flat for a few days?
I'll be happy to give you a room and food for it.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:08, Reply)
Sure, give me a sponsored job and an employment contract and I'd be happy to. :P

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:09, Reply)
Yeah, well
We might have a problem there... But I'll keep my eyes open for you!
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:14, Reply)
Do you want to come and stay with me for a bit
say 4 hours a week?
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:08, Reply)
see above dear man.

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:10, Reply)
A flatmate of mine was like that.
and then complained that I never did any housework. Apparently my explanations of "well if you'd let it get to a state where I notice there's a state, I'll clean it up" wasn't good enough.

So we tried a rota, which also wasn't good enough because rather than doing all at one time, I had to do it the minute anything became dirty, which essentially meant spending the day cleaning. I refused to do this.

The flatmate didn't last.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:10, Reply)
I could never live with DJ
He's one of those people that eats cereal over the sink. Walking into my house makes him itch.

I do feel sorry for Roota.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:12, Reply)
Roota'll be alright
She's hot enough to get somebody else if DJ goes too far towards the Howard Hughes.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:16, Reply)
This is true

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:18, Reply)
I suspect the feacal Baskins Robbins didn't help either

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:12, Reply)
For once, I think I'm glad to be missing a meme here.

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:19, Reply)
went over my head too

Kroney = Frozen Poo Dildo

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:44, Reply)
ahaha I don't complain when other people don't clean.
Unless it's in the bathroom and there's ... waste.. everywhere. It's usually that I don't let things get that bad to bug me. Usually.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:13, Reply)
I wish I was as tidy as you
the only time I notice how untidy my room is, is when people who don't know me come round
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:12, Reply)
Aha. I didn't think you were that bad really.
I've seen far worse.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:14, Reply)
I'm not dreadful
I just hate tidying. It's so boring
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:16, Reply)
I never said you were!
I sorta see it as proactive. And actually when I'm stressed I clean more. And it's good for procrastination.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:19, Reply)
Tell me.
When I was doing my dissertation at uni my bedroom was sparkling.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:21, Reply)
Whereas people can tell when I'm stressed
by the number of diet coke cans on my windowsill

+with bullet holes in

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:25, Reply)
Buf
I have housework to do too. Too much of it. And unpacking. And I have to set up the direct debits for all my utilities. And need to write to the bank as well. You just reminded me and made me very unhappy.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:08, Reply)
OH NOES!
I've upset a pregnant lady! I'm so going to hell...
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:09, Reply)
You BITCH.

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:10, Reply)
Hahaha!
Oh, don't worry, I think that only counts after the 6th month.

I just remember I put the washing machine yesterday night and haven't emptied it, so I think I'll have to wash all those clothes again.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:11, Reply)
I had Aber in my car the other week.
I've never driven so slowly in my life.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:11, Reply)
And I'm very glad you did
as I was getting sick already, imagine if you'd gone faster!
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:14, Reply)
I used to be like that when I had the grandkids in the car
Now I just give them the usual boy racer treatment. They've never complained. I really do drive like a man.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:14, Reply)
Correctly?

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:15, Reply)
Oh man, yeah.
I can reverse, and park, and everything!
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:16, Reply)
Holy Shit!

(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:24, Reply)
Well, I guess I'm not getting any better offers
So I'm off to do my housework. Try not to miss me too much.
(, Tue 7 Jun 2011, 10:19, Reply)
Missing you already!!
