I admitted to the performance stuff and stated that I wanted a managed outcome, with proper timescales and targets.
But when it came to the bullshit stuff I politely pulled no punches.

For instance, I was accused of 'booking holidays at the last minute'. The published rules state that for leave of a day or two you need to give at least two days notice. My manager pulled me up for coming in to work this Monday and asking for this Friday off. She actually gave that as an example. I pointed out that that is three/ four days rather than two. Also pointed out further flaws with the whole holiday thing.

Had an amusing moment where I said I've never had flex removal confirmed in writing. She triumphantly procalimed 'Yes you have! Right here!', and pointed at the transcripts. I pointed out that it actually states 'asked to work 9 to 5' which is not the same as flex removal and that it needs to be confirmed in writing.

I have further tricks up my sleeve with that one.

I deserve a pint.

I want a bmx, but I can't find an adult one, there's one on craigslist but it's just the frame and seat and it's $125 and I think that's a little steep for something used.

£100 would get you a useable second hand hybrid or MTB over here. I'd say just get an old but well cared for mountian bike to be honest, they are cheap as hell these days, go forever and if speed is not a priority it's be fine.

If so, you are probably OK, it looks too simple to have much go wrong and if the brakes fail you can stop with your feet. It's a toy more than a bike, but you want to play more than travel, so don't let that put you off.

Yeah', just installed the new version of OSX (apple's version of Windows), and I *think* I really really like it.
But scrolling is reversed now, so if I scroll up, the page goes down. It's the same as on the iPad and iPhone so I'm not finding it hard to get used too, the best way to think of it as you've got a physical sheet of paper that you're moving.

The thing that they call "Misson Control" is amazing though.
