I totally did 40 in a 30 zone. It was 6:30 on a Sunday morning and all sensible people were at home asleep, but still...
I feel totally ashamed, and I shall hand myself in at the first opportunity.
Alt: probably not a great idea to head down there. The last thing they need is more rubberneckers getting in the way.
By the way - have we all seen that footage of the boy that got mugged while injured? There's just no hope for this country, there really isn't.

Some drunken oaf started on him and bottled him. His head and face were pissing blood and he was collapsed on the floor. A chap ran over and asked if he was alright, asked if he wanted him to call the police & an ambulance.

Less than that if you want to count wars. Humanity is an inherently violent species and it does not take much in the way of deprivation for us to start using force.
The only things unusual about this spell of civil disorder are the rapidity of its spread and the lack of a cause. It's all happened before and it'll all happen again.
