none of my family have ever been unemployed on both sides, i have an iq of over 150, and of course i am UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL.
so i am quite quite safe.
although i would also happily be culled, looking at my workload this week and next.

i did an online test which came out at about 176, clearly wrong. then my friend who is a psychologist did a massive long test on me. came out at 86.
the truth has to be somewhere between the two, eh?

Despite the average being 90. It make people feel bad about having a 90 IQ and people feel its low. A lot of people with very high IQ's are freaky and have no common sense or social skills whatsoever. Also your IQ should never change and has nothing to do with your knowledge and your ability to remember things. You can get by perfectly well with knowledge and experience with a low IQ.

since that's what it is standardised around?

either that or something is broken. IQ = mental age divided by physical age multiplied by 100. It's also bollocks.

What I should have said is 90 is normal and an IQ of 90 doesn't necessarily make you a massive thicko.

Frankly anything below about 120 makes you barely worth talking to.

I work with a guy who quite obviously has a low IQ, he would have to read the instructions to know how to take the lid of a jam jar but he has a good memory so has learned and remembered a lot of stuff and is bloody good at his job, he has also led an interesting life so has a lot of interesting things to talk about. The fact that his ability to work things out for him self is low doesn't make him thick

there are incredibly intelligent people out there with no idea of how to function socially or with any shred of common sense whatsoever. A friend of mine's daughter is one of these people. And I'm not talking about autists and Aspies, here.

You can be extremely knowledgeable about a subject with a low IQ.

'Hawking was asked about his IQ in a 2004 newspaper interview, and replied, "I have no idea. People who boast about their I.Q. are losers." '

when technology has evolved to a point where the woman's voice in lifts can practically make you come in your pants just by saying 'Going down'.
Christ sake Hawking, you spaz, at least upgrade to Dalek or summat.
