Yay for Weddings!

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:36, 1 reply, 14 years ago)
Other than your own, fuck weddings.
People keep getting married and costing me a fortune in air fares, hotels, presents and booze. Fuck them in the face.

I LOVE weddings.
People get EMOTIONAL and there's pretty DRESSES, and there's BOOZES, and there's GROOMS GETTING TEARY, and there's everybody HUGGING and KISSIIIING. It's Ace. I fucking LOVE weddings.

I like the ones with free booze best
at the last one there was also delicious sausages
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:41, Reply)
At my sister's wedding a fortnight ago, there was free booze, I nearly snaffled a bottle to take home with me there was so much booze.
But I was a good girl and left it there for others.
I had KFC for dinner. This was a mistake. I feel a bit queasy now.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:43, Reply)
I love KFC.
Which is odd because I like food.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:47, Reply)
I should have just stuck to their chips,
the chicken ALWAYS makes me feel sick. It's so greasy and undiscernable.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:48, Reply)
Very much the same.

At the last one the meal was a sit down buffet
Lasagne, gammon, sticky ribs, salmon, wedges, etc, fantastic meal.

Was rather gutted to be one of the few who didn't go up for another serving.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:48, Reply)
Man, you must know some gay grooms.
All of those things, while positive, are somewhat outweighed by the £500 it costs me to go to every one of them. Which, when you have 9 in a year, gets a little expensive.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:44, Reply)
..... clearly you're going to the wrong weddings.
It costed me all of $50 to go to my Sister's wedding.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:46, Reply)
oh! I want to go to a wedding, now
I must cajole my brother to marry his woman.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:50, Reply)
Defs!
I just love weddings. I think they're great.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:53, Reply)
Not really
time constraints and where I live mean i need to fly to most weddings. Aiports are rarely near wedding venues. So flight/hire care/hotel/presents and it adds up rather.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:54, Reply)
then the solution is clear
have less friends
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:55, Reply)
the last two weddings I went to
cost me in the region of £150 each. When you consider the cost of travel, and a hotel, then booze.. I'm not even counting the cost of new dresses, shoes etc in with that, either.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:55, Reply)
I love how you justify new dresses and shoes into it, like you'd be turning up naked otherwise.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 10:50, Reply)
Well you can't wear the same dress to different weddings.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 10:56, Reply)
Why not?

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 11:12, Reply)
'tis an expensive business
plus throw in a stag do and that summer holiday looks a long way off
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 10:12, Reply)
Oh you grumpy tits, you had yours so now everyone can get fucked.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:46, Reply)
I've had two.
If I had that attitude I've never have got married again. I just get fed up with the cost.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 9:55, Reply)
Greedy bugger, I haven't even had one
