Can you turn it on in safe mode and do a system reset?

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:09, Reply)
it's in safe mode running adaware
not sure about a system reset. Just spoke to my friend who reiterated my shitness, he is talking formatting :( need to try annd back up pretty desperately.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:25, Reply)
What happened (exactly).

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:29, Reply)
virus checker said it found a trojan
then nothing happened for a bit, then firefox crashed, I think there was a dialogue box then, but I forget. This happened again and there were MANY dialogue boxes. Then I ran virus checker (it found nothing) and malware checker. There was some unpleasantness with a reboot and I opened it in safe mode. It's not quietly running adaware, as I don't know what else to do, and earlier made a noise like an angry trapped bee
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:31, Reply)
a trapped bee you say....
Sounds like a BUG!
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:35, Reply)
It sounds like something I had a few months ago.
I don't want to worry you, but in the end I had to so a factory reset.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:36, Reply)

I asked the old feller to come to PIERBASH, but he wasn't interested.
Therefore I can slut it *right* up.

Did you say, 'Husband. Want to see me slag it right up on Friday?'

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:13, Reply)
I told him the boys thought he sounded cool and wanted to meet him.
He said they'd all laugh at hi,m for being old and then laugh at me for marrying him, and anyway you're all too artistic for him and he'd have nothjing in common with you.

Or something.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:16, Reply)
Liar.
I'll bet you said 'I suggested you came along, but the boys said 'no'.'
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:17, Reply)
Yeah, that's entirely what happened.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:18, Reply)
I'll bet you had to agree to let him administer his special 'sore throat' cure so you could go out without him.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:19, Reply)
I'm totally not artistic.
I is an engineer.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:19, Reply)

but he's a miserable old fucker who goes out of his way to not be happy.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:20, Reply)
Oh well tell him I said Hi anyway.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:25, Reply)
Did he say "artistic" or "autistic"?

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:42, Reply)
No, autistic is him.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:44, Reply)

We could pick up an application form on Friday and complete it in the pub.

That would be ACE
and not at all a waste of my impressive skillzorz.
(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:14, Reply)
Running the prize bingo would be more fun than working in a charity shop.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:15, Reply)
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't.

(, Mon 26 Sep 2011, 22:17, Reply)
