Woo and indeed Yay!
To celebrate the impending weekend I have returned to work. It seems nice an peaceful here, with half my department away for one reason or another and a few no unpleasant things that need doing.

The only fly in the ointment is that a book I ordered has turned up hardback rather than paperback, which will make carrying it around mildly annoying.

No, I like paper books too much
and, as far as I know, you can't buy cheap second-hand kindle books for a couple of quid, which is about the only way I buy books.
