Morning Oaties
I won my mates game of poker last night having gone heads up with an 11-1 disadvantage in chips. My last two hands were 7 2 off-suit and 5 2 suited, which I think taught my opponent a valuable lesson in letting me see a flop unopposed, since I ended up winning both hands all-in. £50 woo!

As a reward this morning I have had a sausage, black pudding and egg sandwich and am watching QI uncut.

How was your Saturday night?

Alt: What did you have for breakfast?

I'm still in bed Lighty.
I'm watching Police Camera Action.

I'll get up in a minute though.

I'm sat on the sofa in my pyjamas
watching Pinky and the Brain, and eating cake.

My saturday night was fun, but cold. I watched fireworks and lasers in a field whilst Pink Floyd was playing.

Morning berk

Hello Berk.
I watched fireworks last night too, there was WOOOSH and BANG and WHEEE and PHSSSZIT ones, and a whole array of different colours. I liked the ones that exploded into big even sized balls that look like they would fall down on you and crush the thousands of people there, if they were solid. I had candy floss and a burger. There was talk of anti-Annonimious stuff, about them protesting wearing V for Vendetta masks, and stuff like that, over the loud speaker.

I'm kind of hoping next time there are lots of fireworks in a field, maybe possibly me and you can be in the same field at the same time.

My Saturday night was early
Because I had to get up at 04.30 this morning, to go to the yard, get a coach and drive to Robin Hood airport to collect a school party at 08.30.

20 minutes ago the plane still hadn't taken off from Vienna. It's going to be a LONG day...

I'm off for a walk now, although there's not much exciting here.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 11:56, Reply)
I've got that Ultravox song in my head now.

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:05, Reply)
Yes, that I volunteered for this job.
Flight now flying, ETA 14.15. I'm only going to be 6 hours late getting home.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:11, Reply)
I hope they're paying you extra for that

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:31, Reply)
Cool story bro

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:21, Reply)
Hahaha, yeah', I guess poker talk IS the most dullest subject someone can talk about.
Oh god, when Sexface used talk about his poker stuff, I had never wanted a plane to crash a building that I'm in any more than that.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:32, Reply)
Again, you're lacking bacon.
Absolutely fucking dull tbh, but ah well.

Alt: I've not had anything, as I'm getting a massive roast for dinner.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:30, Reply)
I managed to read 'roast' as 'racist'

Monty's coming over?

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:49, Reply)
Nothing wrong with unopposed flops
It depends on how confident you are as a post-flop player. Personally, I always try to get in as cheap as possible.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 12:47, Reply)
She's definitely got a better poker face than me
and her flat calling all the time got her to heads-up at least. I just got pretty lucky on the hands at the end.

I hate those players
Except when I'm playing Omaha. Then they're great.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 13:41, Reply)
HOLY FUCKING SHIT OH FUCK FUCK FUCK, WOWWOOWOWOW, MY MIND IS BLOWN.

Simpson's propigander, Barny Gumble is the future Bart Simpson.

What?

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 13:03, Reply)
C'mon, look at it, blatently Barney is what Bart will be when he's older, and that's a subtal message in The Simpsons.
Same clothes, letter 'b' first name, bart is into pranks and being 'cool', except those kids grow up into one of life's losers.

I am having the worst hangover in the universe for breakfast.
I've had to go back to bed. If I don't post tomorrow, it's because I'll be dead.

Sorry

*There There*
I might be heading to the capital before Christmas for a long weekend, I'm sure I could find some 'Gonz time' in my schedule if you wanted a glass of fizzy pop.

It's not the same if I don't get to have sex in Swipie's jacuzzi (oddly enough, it's a euphanisum for a euphanisum (maybe (I don't uderstand words sometimes (STOP SHOUTING AT ME))))..
... while being feed sushi by a japanese concubine and sipping on mojitos with gold leaf floating around in it.

*sigh*, I guess it'll do though, fizzy pops and good grub.
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 14:49, Reply)

(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 14:57, Reply)

It's Ok if you don't trust yourself around me, the only person you have to let down is your dignaty, and I hope that is very forgiving.

Sorry, we would have invited you, but I don't like being a third wheel.
It's very selfish of me and I'm ashamed.

Yesterday for drinky poos I had a blue WKD, a malabu and coke in a can, and some apple brandy with nuts in it.
Today I am not hanged over, but I still had an enjoyable time.

afternoon
I've just been swimming, and it was less than an hour after my breakfast. Unfortunately my breakfast did not involve lovely sausage and blackpudding and egg, but it did have chocolate crunchy muesli stuff.

oh, yeah :( I have just decided it's time to do 2 weeks of dust-shakes instead of food
(, Sun 6 Nov 2011, 13:17, Reply)
I watched college ball
In the bars all day, forgot all my clothes and bed linen were at the laundry and was upset to find them closed at 12:45 am

Sat night: beer/beer/fireworks+beer/beer+band/beer/gin/waking up fully clothed with all the lights on. Result.

Alt: technobaconation.

Start with pack of thick-sliced rashers, cut the medallion bits out and set aside. Then cut each of the remains such that you're left with a bit that has the fat and meat, and a bit that's just fat.

Take a dry pan, cook the solely-fat bits first till crispy and rendered, shift them into the middle and add the fat+meat bits around the outside, and cook till done. Remove, then add the medallion bits into the resulting bacon fat and cook. Remove and keep warm.

Fry eggs in remaining bacon fat. Eat with strong sweet continental coffee (with a generous slug of whiskey in it - it's nearly Christmas after all).

Then, contemplate afternoon consisting of (40min) walk to pub, live music, good beer and a bloody good kip ...
