(sings) Oh what a beautiful morning!
It's a lovely sunny morning, full of promise for a great day ahead, I've already done my first load of washing (cue strikethroughs) and the day is shaping up nicely with a bacon sarnie and a large mug of tea soon to be consumed. Later I'm off to play some guitar in a Lutterworth pub with Pooflake et al and then home for a nomtastic roast dinner.

So, pasty-faced internet shut-ins, what are your plans for such a lovely day?

Alt: Just how bad IS your hangover and what are you going to do to shift it?

Courtesy of Monty, JTDF & Stunned my hangover is 8/10.

I now have to clean up my house before my wife gets home this afternoon.

This is a particular problem as in my drunken state last night I decided to buy a whole chicken, portion it and cook a load of it. The kitchen looks like a pogrom took place in it. Drunken cooking is a bad idea.

8/10 eh?
Not a good start when having to clear up a drunken-cooking besmirched kitchen. Let's hope that no parts of the chicken ended up in hidden places - rotting chicken smells awful.
Best of luck with the cleaning!

My hands are shaking so much I can't even hold a tea towel at the moment.

I'm so very glad I never caught up with you lot
I was sent to bed at 3 and had to be out again at 7.30. There's no way I could have faced that with a proper hangover.

It was good to see you. Well done on coping Jeff and Stunned (and Lewisham) without additional support.

haha
that's quite a middle aged thing to do when drunk. Next it'll be "yeah...I was munted...woke up and I'd installed decking in the back garden and rearranged the pot porri"

Today I shall be tidying up a bit and doing some marking
and making a powerpoint or two.

alt: no hangover, went to friends' house last night, watched super 8. Not enough about cameras

Food shopping
and hanging around. I have no hangover as I had a very boring day yesterday. Boredom shall continue for another ten days until payday, upon which I am going to go out and have some form of life.

Listening to Burial's new EP.
Those drums are the shiznitz.

Nice jungle stylings in the background as well.

Today I shall mostly be sleeping, drinking tea, and reading.
There is no hangover, as I only had one drink last night.

Actual packing will commence this evening!

(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 11:10, Reply)
Woo hoo!
Do you actually have anywhere to pack FOR?
(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 11:38, Reply)
Morning
I only had a few pints, went for a curry (at banglaloungerestaurant.com/hallgreen.html ) and then back home. I recommend their Lamb Jhankar (Punjabi rhyming slang) followed by the South Indian Garlic Chili Chicken. I recommend not saying, "and it had better be bloody hot, Apu, chop chop." as that never ends well.

Alright?

(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 12:12, Reply)
Oh dear! My brain hurts
An evening with Stunned, Jeff, Monty, Battered, Berk and Lusty, reminds me how old I am.

Cheers guys, I'm now packing for my hols, and shall be back next Saturday.
(, Sun 19 Feb 2012, 12:12, Reply)
Enjoy your hols mate.

I've never cared much for Shakespeare
I deliberately avoided studying his work during my degree.
