Are you a QOTWer? Do you want to start a thread that isn't a direct answer to the current QOTW? Then this place, gentle poster, is your friend.

OK
so I'll start the evening thread. It shall be about thread. Do you like cotton? What about embroidery thread? How many strands do you like to use when embroidering? I think 2 is good, 3 tends to look a little too chunky, but it's harder to separate two threads. How about wool or yarn?

I like the feel of silk, I've got some kind of hyper sensitivity to silk, I sometimes spend hours rubbing silk in my fingers.
It has to be the right kind of silk, I don't like it when it's frayed a lot.

True story, I reckon about 50% of my silk labels are warn out, or at least, partly.

I decided to go the japanese on the way home, the one near work that's half price afterwards.
I fucking love my little japanese granny. She gave me a pot of Goyza (dumplings), a pot of Kinchaku(money bags), a thing of teyrakki and a thing of salmon nigiri... all 'cus I bought two small bento boxes.

She looks after me, she does. When my time comes, she'll be right at the front of the queue, wouldn't even have to queue. Top lass.

I am

I shan't either
On account of how dressing up in cheap national-themed fancy dress is ghastly.

No.
Unless that twist is "not wearing red and white, nor painting crosses on you, nor wearing a flag as a cape, nor any sort of humourlessly themed afro wig"

I will let you get away with a bowler hat and umbrella.

Not a steampunk corset, maybe.
But if you get yourself some corset-y undies, that will give you the same inner sex-goddess vibe.
